they/them Secchia emerged from the pathetic hole of a cave they'd spent the night in, feeling their paws leave an imprint in the soft grey snow under them. They stretched, arching their back before looking up at the sky, where the ashfall continued, flecks of grey and white falling from the sky. Secchia lifted their nose, looking for the scent of prey, which was unfortunately rather scarce. Instead, they smelled… wolf. "Hello?" They called, their ears perking up. |

Frost had fallen asleep right in the open late at night. He woke to the hazy light of the morning. He lifted his head, dust and dry snow falling from his muzzle as he looked around trying to remember where he was. Oh right... this place. He heaved himself to his feet and shook out his pelt furiously, sending the gritty snow flying in every direction. He then took his time stretching, yawning, and preparing for the day. What should he do today? Probably find some food... As he was preparing to search for scents, a sudden breeze unsettled the dusty snow around him. He bounced on his paws, suddenly taking off and running in a random direction trying to avoid the irritating wind. When he stopped again, he was in a completely new place that just happened to look the same as the place he just left. He snorted. Well, that's unsettling. He shook his head again, and more dust flew about. But then he heard it. Some call. His ears perked. Was someone saying hello? Where was that? He spun around a full rotation, before settling on a direction. He charged toward it. Hopefully, this random stranger was friendly. It'd been so long since he'd seen another living wolf. Frost slowed down, squinting as he approached the place where the strange wolf was. He paused a little ways off, trying to assess the situation. Looked like another wolf alright. They seemed to have found a proper place to sleep last night, considering the hole they stood next to. He tilted his head, unsure of whether he should approach or not. He just remained there, watching. ((hope you don't mind me jumping in?)) |

🕯️ Secchia 🕯️ they/them Secchia's ears swiveled around, trying to find the source of the scent. Any barks in the distance? Or something? Secchia frowned, kicking some snow over their little cave. Suddenly distracted by a small lizard, they pounced on it and impaled it with their claws, rolling over and batting at it like a playful cat. After a moment of torturing the poor creature, they remembered— the wolf. Killing the lizard swiftly, Secchia chewed on its tail and surveyed their surroundings. Almost immediately, they spotted the wolf standing only a few strides away, staring at them. Secchia flushed with embarrassment, standing up fully to approach them cautiously. "Um. Hi? Who're you?" They asked, sniffing the wolf from a couple steps away. |

Frost flinched as he watched the wolf attack and absolutely destroy the lizard. Huh... they were definitely not someone to take lightly. His ears flicked back as another wolf approached. He hesitated now. He shuffled his paws back a bit. Maybe he should just stick to himself... more wolves could end up being more trouble then they're worth. But then again... it's probably safer to be inside a group then all by yourself. "H-hey. I'm Frost." He spoke, stepping up closer. |

She hadn't found proper shelter yesterday, so she had to sleep in the open and was now covered in snow. After a good stretch, she tried to shake the snow out of her fur, but some was still stuck. She didn't like it here, all seemed to look the same to her and prey was scarce. I'll find food and water first, then I'm going to search for shelter. she decided. She wanted to leave the desert as fast as possible, but she doubted it would happen today. Not then the desert stretched out so far behind her and in front of her. She walked into a random direction. It didn't really matter which, as she was certain she would get out of this desert one way or the other. After some time she caught the scent of three wolves. She walked a bit further until she could see and hear them, she hesitated then. Should she really approach them? Maybe they knew more about this desert. She would observe them a bit, then she would decide. |

"Well! Isn't this just the party? How exciting!" Secchia said, almost forgetting their embarrassment at the wolves seeing them playing with their prey. "My name's Secchia. Weird to see so many wolves around here eh?" Secchia tried to shake some of the ash from their fur. "So," the silver wolf began, rolling their shoulders, "what brings y'all here?" |

Sensing the others' comfort, and lack of hostility his ears perked forward again eagerly. "Just adventure and a bit of fun! But, I will say this place is a little… dead?" He barked a short, sudden laugh. "But there's certainly something about this place!" His whole demeanor had changed in a matter of seconds, and his tail swayed back and forth in a contented way. He patted his paws on the clumpy dirty snow beneath him, resisting the sudden urge to roll in it. No, must remain composed. He dipped his head in a show of respect, as an after thought. "It's nice to meet you all." |
