Is this the end?

I knew that wolfden was meant to be harder than most pet rp sites, I knew, but I thought I was doing okay for a little bit! However, now most of my wolves have the flu, my herpetologist isn't finding the right herbs and I need to make so many cures at this point) and my hunters haven't returned with food for god know how many hunts now so I have no meat and a total of 10 SC to my name.... 

How do I come back from this? Should I be trying to just have a small wolf pack? Do I need to min max to get anywhere? I like my progen wolves and I'll be a little sad if they die when I inevitably fail but I just want to know what I'm doing wrong at this point. 

I am brand new so idk how much help I can be.  What kinds of herbs do you need?

Explore and make your herbalist forage regularly! Make sure to do daily quests every day as it gives you 100+ SC each time and sell unwanted items in TC or to the raccoon! ^^ I hope this helps a bit, it's what I'm doing.

Its definitely tough, but I do believe you have just gotten the shite end of the RNG rolls. 

Everyone is so nice here oh gosh, thank you all! I got some cures but still need one more use of an influenza cure, I'm trying to sell a few of my spare herbs to get enough SC to diagnose my last sick wolf Honestly thought I could get away with skipping that step but turns out you need to do it in order to even give them any cure I'm dumb) as well as some meat so hopefully that will get me through the worst of this so I can get back up on my feet ;v; 

I do have some spare nests I'm happy to trade off for any more help though! I'm def not in the best position to be using them any time soon hahah

i'm sorry to hear that!! that's awful... from the looks of it, all your wolves have influenza, too, which is one of the harder cures to make and find herbs for. if you have any extra stacks of herbs, remember that you can exchange 3x herbs for 1x herb at the bottom of herbalist. 

your pack is actually pretty small, I think the problem lies in that you didn't spread your resources enough to maintain the pack... explore, explore, explore! you get tons of extra meat & toys from explore, sell all the extras that you don't need at the raccoon. i can say from certainty that you shouldn't completely rely on hunting parties to bring back food for your wolves, even if they have high synergy & proficiency, they always have that chance to miss a lot of hunts. 

i'd be happy to give you some herbs for the medicine you need (granted you have the recipe learned), and some meat stacks for your wolves! it's definitely not the end, after you feed and heal your wolves you should definitely keep in mind that you might have to change your method of playing.
