I recently set my stud just because I liked him, and he's a G1 T3 chased I found long time ago! I believe the most popular studs are T3s, G1/2, 10 markings and pies. Obviously this is something difficult to obtain if you just came back and don't have currency or higher value items. Special Tiers also do pretty well, but T3s are more desirable given the difficulty to breed them. If you do the ghost base stud, I reccomend you look around the recent stud chatter to see any other ghost studs. If they have a certain theme, I suggest choosing something different theme wise. This was my last stud Arrax. He did really well as my first public stud, but I never kept records of profit from stud requests. Definitely ran out of slots a few times, so special tiers can be popular too. |

If you're gonna go for a +G2, I would search for a pup +500 birth stats. Closer to 600 is better, and make sure the pup is trained or you are able to fully train it. Training will give a 50-60 stats if you do it correctly, proficiency will allow them to gain stats so that's a plus too. This will allow your stud to potentially be 600-700 by 1yr. The higher stats, the better. Strength is preferred for studs too, so maybe try making them finishers or scouts. As for Markings, I'm not sure. I do know T6 markings might be more difficult to obtain as they are by breeding. These markings are very tricky to breed as you'll need both the parents to have certain markings in the same slot. Ex. If you want an Auburn colored marking in Slot 7. One parent needs red in Slot 7 and the other needs black in Slot 7 as well. That's only for color, the type of marking will also be taken into play. The main thing I look as for Markings is that it fits into the theme of my stud. Arrax had a blue theme, so I made sure he had some blue markings show. Some players like for the markings to look natural throughout the wolf's body. Another thing to take into consideration is how much you'll spend in the wolf as is and to get it to be what you invision. My next stud, Ira, took 4 marking apps, 5 Opacity changers and Halo eye app. This is probably ~20GC without checking how much each marking goes for in the trading center. |
