Female Lead Pup Penalty

Alright, this is a tad annoying for me. Mothers have to be fed to 100% to give their pups that survival boost, right? Well, it's really frustrating as someone who has a female lead, to have my pups get a penalty because my lead is at 99% hunger because she lost that 1% exploring. Like, seriously? I don't want to waste carcass uses to fill that single percentage when it could feed a pup 20% or an adult 10%. Anyone else struggling with this??

I don't have this issue personally because my lead is male but I agree it's an annoying mechanic. I think it'd be more reasonable if the penalty were applied below 90% hunger or mood, so you wouldn't have to waste a use of food.

Ouch, that does sound pretty annoying!  Not being able to explore last thing in the evening without worrying about feeding sounds like a nuisance.

yeah that was a problem for me when my lead was nursing, will be even worse once winter rolls around and food is less common
