He said, gesturing for Siena and Adam to enter the cave. They did, settling against the far wall, and shivering. The temperatures were chilly, considering it was fall, and caves were cold, never warm. And they were both soaked from the waist down,so it didn't help. Ami nodded, letting Jack do what he knew best, tracking. Or so she figured. She personally excelled in combat, so it was to be assumed by how eager Jack was to check the trail of water that he was good at tracking.

It was big, though, hence why she hadn't done it sooner. Jack would examine the wetness of the dirt, and after a moment, points in the general direction of the cave. "Based on the pause and then the scarce droplets, they paused here before continuing. I'm assuming one of the birds went up to scout before coming back and guiding them this way." He says. "Most of the liquid is in certain spots, so they lost a decent bit of the liquid, but there are droplets this way." He says.

She didn't mind being used as a campfire, it was fun being useful to people. Jack nods and heads off, calm as he does. "They most likely searched for shelter, so keep your eyes peeled for shelters!" He calls.

Jack stayed silent as he saw the phoenix exit the cave, staying hidden as he observed them, tense. He nodded to Ami though, and tried to keep her hidden too.

'They're near, I can sense them. But I don't know where.' He said. 'Be ready, shift into your fastest form, and when I say so, run.' He adds, glancing at them. He casually shifts into his kitsune form, while Adam shifted to his Cheetah and Siena to her Raven. She wouldn't be able to run fast as a horse or zebra on this terrain. Ami watched, wondering if they saw them, as they shifted, but assumed they didn't since they were simply lingering, like fools, at the cave. The team was slowly moving to circle them and she pressed closer to Jack. "Let's go now, the team can flank them." She whispered.

She stayed alert though, and would be the last to run if it came down to it. She wanted to keep them safe. Jack nods. "...alright..." He replies to Ami, looking to her, ready to follow her lead. He kept his gun ready and was determined to keep Ami safe too.

Ami stood, moving through the underarms until she was revealed not even 20 feet from the cane's mouth. "Playtime's over. Come willingly or I'll make you." She said, grip tightening on hee gun Adam and Siena tensed, glancing at Star and Brian. Siena cooed and flapped her wings, beginning to prepare to fly, while Adam stood, preparing to sprint. Ypu could tell he was talking deep breaths, to prepare himself for the sprint to come. "Last chance, freaks." Ami growled, gun raising to point at them.

Posted 2024-12-22 08:38:58 #1404856 Jack had followed Ami out, staying close, raisin. His guns when Ami did. He was ready to defend her with his life, too, if he had to. Star opens her wings wide, screeching, hiding the others with the wings and protecting the whole being defensive.
