He can ride on my lion form." He said. Siena snorted a whinny and knelt, letting Brian down. He scratched at his neck. "Wonder if the fire would be able to melt this thing.." he murmured, before glancing back. "We don't have time to pause, let's go." He said, before Siena shifted to her Raven form and Adam into his lion, crouching to allow Brian onto his pack. Siena flew ahead to Star, and gave a soft cry, letting her know she was near before circling back to Adam and Brian who sprinted through the forest. Ami dropped her head. "Still. I should've thought about the window." She said before turning to him. "Let's see if we can find any clues. Dr.Barr will find us doon." She said, already heading into the forest

She would spot a cave near a further away river and caws, staying looking that way as she descended to Adam and Brian so they'd know she was telling them to go that way. Jack nods and follows Ami quickly, focusing. "Let's see what we can do." He says.

Adam glanced up, Brian clutching his mane, and followed Siena and Star, grey eyes watching for the cave. His white pelt and grey mane shined in the sun, and he had to move faster to not be noticed in the air. Siena dives down, shifting into her human form as she reaches the ground. Adam stops, kneels and let's Brian off his back before shifting to his human form. "Now what?" He asked, panting. He had asthma, so his stamina wasn't the greatest. Brian glanced around at the gathered group. "We rest and then we go further tommorow. See if we can reach a city." He said, crossing his arms. "First, we are in the middle of nowhere, and second, the moment we walk into the city, someone will call us out! We have ears and tails and wings!" Adam hissed. "Not if I glamour them away." Brian said. "Anyways, we don't know when or how to get there yet, so let's just hide and we'll move again by dawn." He added. Siena was already inside the cave, fidgeting with her necklace. Ami gave a tight smile to Jack before noticing the rest of the team gathering outside, ready to sweep the forest. "Stay sharp, Any little clue can mean we find them! They are dangerous, and we do not risk ourselves trying to be nice." She said, loud enough for the whole team to hear. "Move out!" She then added before glancing at Jack. "You stick with me." She said before leading the search into the forest.

She asks. "I've never seen one before." Jack nods And stays ready, sticking by Ami. "Yep. Keep on the lookout, stay ready, and don't let them escape no matter what." He says, ready to go.

Brian and I don't..  so unless you two want to be stuck eating scraps with a bunch of dead brained birds, no offense, I'd suggest we just let Brian glamour them." He said, trying to be joking despite his struggle breathing. Ami smiled softly. Jack was her closest friend, and she knew he'd always have her back. She trudged through the woods, the team already straight beside them. "They could be anywhere.." she muttered, watching for any sign of them.

Ravens and crows actually team up with wolves a lot to hunt, being scouts that help wolves find prey, and both sides get food. I've also heard they can be considered pets. And I, indeed, have never seen a city because I was taken when I was born. I was told my family was dead, mother died due to my birth." She tells them, like it was basic knowledge. Jack stuck with Ami. "Yeah. If they're anywhere, then they're findable. The fastest one is the cheetah, but he can't run far before needing to rest or else passing out on them, so they couldn't have gone too far." He says, being logical with his words and thoughts.

Posted 2024-12-15 06:26:25 #1395203 Adam blinked, a little shocked. He'd always thought birds, especially crows and Raven's, were dumb. "Oh.." he said, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "I... I was sold to Dr.Barr when I was two.." he said. He sat on a boulder, staring into the woods, feline senses on overdrive. "Hey, Star, come melt this thing before I lose my mind." Brian said, who was pacing thoughtfully until he spoke. He crossed his arms, watching her. Siena curled into herself, shivering, and watched the forest warily. Snap. She could've sworn she just heard a branch snap. No one else heard it, so she must be hearing things.. Ami nodded. "I haven't seen the cheetah in years though. The subjects Asthma prevents the use of that form. It would've made a good racer, had Dr.Barr not overworked it. We could've brought in some cash to the lab, entering it in races." She said, jokingly. They'd never release the subjects, much less for fun. She paused, crouching down, and pointsd at the riverbank. "It's wet on the other side... they passed through here." She said, gaze narrowing.

Posted 2024-12-15 09:19:05 #1395323 Star goes over to Brian and basically manhandles him to get him sitting on the ground so she could focus, not even saying anything to him as she did, before focusing and pressing her thumb into the least thick part of the collar that she could find so she could melt it off without it taking too long. It'd still take a moment for the heat to build up though. Jack chuckles and nods. "We coulda had his racer name be 'The First' or something." He says, referencing Adam and Eve. Lol.

Despite the fact the fire didn't hurt him, the shocks from the collar did. But he needed it off. Wanted it off. Ami snickered, shaking her head before waving forward the team, crossing the river. "They crossed here, don't leave a single inch unsearched." She shouted to the rest of the guards

Posted 2024-12-15 13:11:20 #1395551 Star stayed like that until the collar was burned through, careful not to let any heat end up on Brian, before taking the collar as she stopped focusing. "Mine now." She says, and walks off to explore the cave. Jack nods and goes to cross the water carefully, and quickly. "Maybe the water will show us which way they went." He says, going to check it. The water probably would since the water droplets that fell off of them would probably make a trail, even if it's just a small one.
