Some years back I was very into roleplaying, back then the standard of group rp was blogs (blogger, WordPress etc.). Not sure if that was the case internationally or just on the Polish part of the internet. How it was set up: A person (or persons) would set up a blog for a specific roleplaying universe. For the sake of explanation let's say a Harry Potter roleplaying. Each page on the blog explains different aspects: places you visit, lessons, teachers, important dates, rules and of course the character cards. If you wanted to join you had to contact the creator or an admin with your filled-out character card and a short introduction. These types of roleplaying were highly literate, usually having a required minimum amount of words. Then your character and introduction would be added to the blog (each would be a separate post). From there you we free to participate in the community. --- Would anyone be interested to try out this style of roleplaying? |
