I have very creative, very exciting names for my hunting parties:

Hunting Party 1
Hunting Party 2
Hunting Party 3
Hunting Party 4
Hunting Party 5

Maybe I should think of some better names...

I like the "Sib Squad." There us one team I had in particular with a set of 5 littermates.

I rather like "Yolk of the Bloom" quite a bit. Occasionally I'll toss in a 5th hunting party if I run out of hunts with another group. But that rarely happens unless I'm home all day.

That's what mine were called for a long while. Actually, I didn't have any lore for the longest time and I still barely have any. My hunting groups aren't based on lore at all- just whatever I thought of at the time :)

Well... I have a lot of hunting parties so please bear with me.
But mine are...

Sky Clan
Desert Clan
Lowland Clan
Rebel Clan
Seekers
Death-Seekers
Braves
Keepers
Foragers
Shamans
Survivors
Artisans
Archers
Fighters
Guardians
Devotees
Marines

...Yeah, you counted correctly... That's 17 parties.
I plan on lowering the number soon once I get the will to chase off some old hunters.
They're all named after the Horizon series NPC archetypes, lol. It helps keep the "Sunhawk Pack" as the "Sunhawk Pack" loll

Top 2 change names with their stalkers:
Wampus' Winners and Ghaddar's Goons.

Second highest ranking friendly and mean teams:
Nice Guys and Jerk Squad #2 (#1 was disbanded).

Younger guys waiting for a promotion:
The Orderlies and The Anarchy Alliance.

Sad waiting guys who often just get 1 hunt a day. Started when I made my mini-pack for cougar mark breeding:
Fair Bears, Cougar Team Cruel, and Grim Ghouls.

When in doubt do alliteration.

Goodness! Idon't think I have the fortitude to come anywhere close to 17 parties! Occasionally I have a spare when one runs out of hunts near the end of the day.

lol Jerk Squad. I may go back to have a spare team like that that ends up doing a single hunt when the others have maxed out. Sometimes I wish there were more roles for the pretty wolves than just more pupsitting or nothing at all.

oops i name mine by their personality group! aggressive, friendly, romantic, stoic, stoic 2.....

my one outlier is "the blue man group" because it's 3 blueschists lol
