A Nursing Pup for Lead Wolf?

My new lead wolf was born today, and he's being weaned in five rollovers as per usual. The only glitch is, my old lead is retiring in four rollovers! I know that wolves under one year age up when they're selected as lead, but does this apply to wolves that are still nursing? Or should I buy an aging crystal for him?

There's no need! Even a nursing pup can be selected as a leader, and they'll automatically be aged up to 1 year old.

The only hitch in the plan is that instantly aging up a nursing pup doesn't allow for any training at all. So he'll be stuck with his base birth stats and not get any boosts. If you don't care about that, then there's no problem. If you want the stat boosts from training, you should appoint an older interim lead, like Black Water or Iris, while you raise and train Qaza Tokki.

True. (Qaza Tokki already has more stars than my level 17 NBW lead haha! I usually neglect training my pups but you have a point. I'd consider appointing someone like Star Chaser or Qaza Tokki's mom Vah Medoh, they're both older.)
