What is Left of Us? [Sci-Fi/Futuristic Canine Roleplay]

In a world destroyed by a pathogen known as The Weeping, humans have been left to retreat underground into the "bunker city" of Salus, a lone sentinel of safety in a world ravaged by war, madness, and disease.  Their dogs, however, weren't affected in the same way by the Weeping. They were enhanced, by the illness, gifted sentience and a human-like intelligence, have been tasked by the humans to protect the city at all costs. This taskforce is known as the Canine Forces.

Life in the Canine Forces is a harsh one. Only the strong--and the brutal--survive long, and those that are willing to kill for a ranking are rewarded. Due to the highly competitive nature of the Canine Forces, brutality is rewarded, and encouraged. Those that are lucky or skilled enough receive enhancements, such as metal limbs to replace lost ones, body armor, or more.

Yet, whispered among the dog's ranks are words of rebellion, which the Elite Regiments of the Canine Forces have been tasked with stamping out--if the city were to be invaded, the humans of Salus would be at risk, and by extension those of the dogs.

Will you rebel, and risk the resource scarcity on your own? Or will you remain loyal to the brutal system that feeds you?
