Amethyst sat and hungrily ate at the dry pebbles that had tiny hints of chicken flavor and cow. She chocked a bot while swallowing down the dry food and drank as much water as her body allowed, 'This food is horrid! how dare they feed us this dry chocking hazard of a meal!" Amethyst barked out quietly but angrily so she didn't alert Natsu's enhanced sensitivity. She whined I miss the taste of fresh kinda mutated chicken and elk! I miss my pack mates and the nice grass....I hope Natsu is okay. Amethyst looked back at Natsu, "Do you..Like it here?" She asked rolling on her side, as she curled up in a protective ball not trusting any humans here.
"no." he said rather bluntly as he walked over to the food when a idea crossed his mind, he gently tipped a small small amount of water into the food and bit down on the pellets "its a bit better with water but not much flavorwise..." he looked at amethyst
he sighed noticing her missing something "my family was rather strict, but at least we knew how to survive through anything, even though this is something new I'm forcing myself to adapt. and the more I fight back against the humans the more energy I waste when I should be saving it to preform an escape, so I've gotten most of this figured out."
Amethyst admired this from Natsu, "Your very adaptable and have a more open mindset, and I can help you out with that escape, my claws are far over grown and stronger than most so I can be a good help to chew and bite through the thin layer of tile and Grey hard stone" She barked out gently with a small wag of her tail
"hmmm... mind if i see?" he turned his head, his ears gently drooped to the side and he looked at the tiles on the ground "yeah... no normal claw could break these." he moved his paw over it feeling its texture
"my family demanded a open mind and a lack of fear, it helps when your not crying in confusion, but instead sitting and pondering what is going on around you and collecting information, I'm a tad bit smarter then the humans believe."
"Definately" Amethyst responded she found the broken tile she used to cover her tunnel, as she used her snout to push it out the way she turned her head, "Over hear Natsu" She said as she showed him the tunnel. "I can do this again I just need a little help, foxes are good at digging in dirt correct? if so then I'll dig through the cement and tile, and then you will help me dig through the dirt until we can find an exit" Amethyst said as she inspected her tunnel, "Wait...The tunnel...It has been block on the other side, I don't feel any air coming through like before..Oh! and we must come up with a plan to map the whole...facility, that way we can make more than one escape routes and so we can know how far freedom is" Amethyst said happily wagging her tail.
"we are indeed, and that is a pretty good idea." he closed his eyes as if thinking and stuck his head into the hole "and I know some glowing mushrooms that have roots that glow, we could use that as light for the other canines who cant really see in the dark." he blinked "maybe later on we can form a mega pack, its harder to take on many in one then few in many."
"Your right, if we can gather up enough we can start a pack, with this pack we can have some canines scout the facility and will they be our scouts, other's will watch the humans and find ways for the scouts to map the facility they will be our spies, or watchers. We could also have some canines, those who are smart and strong distract the humans by fighting if the humans are going near the scouts during the mapping time they will be our guards, the will also help take down any humans who come after us during escape. Then all that is left is two or three canines to spread the word...oh and a leader Incase anyone wants to stay in the pack once we are free" Amethyst said but she quickly stopped as a human walked in.
natsu raised his head in alarm not knowing what was going on, his fight or flight activating on accident as his head remained on the swivle, unsure of what to do as he looked at the human letting out a fox snarl
