It's almost 11pm and I normally would've have school tomorrow, but I probably won't go. My 9 years old degu Waldorf has a tumor since a certain amount of time. I was just watching one of my favourite series and wanted to go to sleep, when I noticed pretty much of the just today fresh-made pet litter (I got the word pet litter from Google Translater, so it might be wrong) had been thrown out of the cage. Waldorf was having very terrible twitches. I immediately fetched my mother and together, we comforted him and put him back into the nest to Mantis, our other degu. He's still alive and has always been a very tough little guy, but I've never seen him in a worse condition. I'm so worried and really scared. Sorry for talking so much about that, but it's too late to call any of my friends and I just had to get it out of my chest. |

Where I live, not many animal vets are really good with rodents, sadly. I remember going to an animal vet with our four rats and they didn't even know how to hold them- Wait, taking him is the English word for putting a pet peacefully asleep, right....? We thought about that and depending on how he's doing tomorrow (if he's still alive 😥), we'll go to an animal vet. I'm scared that we need to put him asleep, or whatever the English word for that is. I know it's sometimes necessary and the most humane thing you can do, but I'm really afraid of something like that, especially since this would be the first time for me to have to put one of my animals asleep. My mother says it's peaceful and I can hold him, but I'm so afraid and yeah.... Sorry again for talking so much about that here in our Rp topic. |

I was referring to taking him to a vet. Sorry for the misunderstanding! |

Tell me if you'd like anything changed! This is your part of the Taiga And this is how the camp looked how I first drew it, before I put it reduced in size on the map. Waldorf's btw better. When we woke up and looked after him, we first didn't find him. We then looked in their sleep root and Waldorf looked pouting to us, as if he wanted to say: Why are you guys waking me up? He ate something and now went to sleep again. He's completely okay. Maybe he had a stroke, but he seems okay now. |

Update on my poorly fishie — he's okay, as well. He's still acting lethargic and I think something is wrong with his swim bladder, but he still swims up and eats for me. Scares me when he sleeps, since fish can't blink and bettas prefer to sleep on their sides... on the substrate... like they've stopped breathing... But he hasn't! |
