[ADDED!] Multiple party hunting suggestion

Support!! This gives an incentive to keep collecting wolves without having to worry about if you'll ever be able to feed them all! Even with 36 or something wolves I'm often struggling for food unless I'm constantly on the site, I can't imagine what it's like for people with more wolves

Yeah, even though I've managed to get the hang of what stat thresholds work for which biome, it's been half a year of selective breeding to get pups that are 'Taiga/Desert ready' to start with (150 in their role's preferred stat, which is still barely enough to get small prey). Starting with a new generation can be a BIIIIG problem if you're at a certain wolf threshold, and if you're not supporting that with a desirable stud and other methods of income, the costs add up fast.

As an example-- it's not food, but it's illustrative: I wasn't able to hit explore as often this past week due to RL, and as a result depleted some of my stored feathers by upward to 35% of the stack. I was thankfully able to take the hit, but I can imagine how that could get out of hand wrt food especially. I might be facing that down soon which is why my numbers are thinning out: most of my veteran chasers and finishers are dying off, and at least one of my stalkers is way below sub-par compared to their contemporaries, even though I know they'll eventually meet a good threshold.

It really is a huge slog, training them up can be a total nightmare and 'training them up' doesn't exactly happen quickly on starter/medium biomes. The XP rollouts are abysmal.

Support. Everyone already listed wonderful reasons so nothing I add will be constructive, but at this point it feels like players with big packs are kind of relying on people like me with small ones to help feed their packs which... seems a little illogical? I'm lucky in that I have two very well-trained hunting teams, but smaller packs without those struggle as well.

Support please!! More hunting parties would be so helpful for those of us who like to keep our wolves at 100% everything all the time, I feel bad if my pixels are hungry >.>

As someone with a small pack, I absolutely support this. Sending out multiple hunting teams wouldn’t just let me get more food, it would give my wolves more to do. Under the current system, I’m trying to limit my pack to 20-25 wolves so that they all have a role to play and stats to gain, but if something like this was implemented I would absolutely grind to increase my territory size and buy/breed more wolves.

agree with badger. i like stat grinding and keeping extra wolves around doing nothing feels like a waste, but obviously unless you're a crazy person who never sleeps you're probably never going to get more than twenty hunts done per day if you have to do them one at a time. being able to send out more than one hunting party at a time would make it so much easier to make sure those wolves get to do their ten hunts per day and get all the stats and exp from that.

I support this! I regularly have between 100-110 (including puppies) wolves in my pack total. In winter, I will be desperate for food because my lead will die and I can no longer explore the tundra which means that my wolves will most likely starve. Being able to sen out more hunts would mean that I won't be in such dire straits when the time comes

Totally support. Being able to send out more than one team at a time for same amount of time with the same 10 hunt limit sounds like a good idea. I also like a previous posters idea about larger hunting teams-maybe a 10 member team could bring back 2 prey or something similar. I dont want any changes personally to the size of trails being determined by stats though. I also had another thread with a suggestion to increase number of stalkers and finishers per party to 2 each. It doesn't make sense that there is only 1 of those and 3 chasers. They should at least be working in pairs. Having it tied to territory slots is a good idea. Buying those slots is really expensive so having some reward to that would be awesome.

PLEASE!! I'm at 38/39 wolves and it's so frustrating having 3 hunting parties but unable to bring in enough food.

Support! Since we're given the option to create multiple hunting parties, I actually thought this was already a feature...
