I support! Although, should it be implemented into the game I would definitely add an opt in/out feature else many people would be upset about being forced into battle, let alone having their wolves injured without wanting to. Maybe there could be milestones/achievements for getting your wolf to a certain success/lose count to encourage the use of it? And to train them they could either tag along in explore when you fight creatures, or similar to how the cub training was in Lioden? So they could develop certain skills that would add on to their stats. Anyway, just my thoughts on it ^^

I fully support this and I think it's a lovely idea!! It sounds like a fun new role and not only would be good in gameplay but also would be nice for lore!

Dislike the idea of PVP. I never played Lioden so I don't know how it works there, but I don't want to get merced by longterm players and lose my stuff or have my wolves injured.

But if PVP were implemented, I like the idea of having a separate role instead of your lead's stats mattering. Then no one is pushed into swapping their lead for an optimal one.

Support! This is a super fun idea and a way to make PVP different than Lioden

big support! i think it would be nice to have another role for wolves to take on, although maybe guards can be unlocked after you complete the move your home biome quest? or maybe after you've unlocked all the difficult biomes (for the first time, it wouldn't reset with your new lead or anything, once you unlock them they stay unlocked) that way newbies don't face any extra challenges due to not having enough wolves to fill all the spots and also don't make the mistake of getting wolves to be guards when really they need hunters

Support, as long as losses don't make you lose anything like on LD (where you lost territory).

I think a very small passive EXP gain on RO (like pupsitters) would be nice, with an active EXP and occasional stat gain from "battles", sort of like your lead does in explore.

Support, just don't want it to be too punishing as others have said in this thread.

I love Silverfire12's ideas of breaking it into 2 roles, one to patrol and keep enemy predators away/gather quest-related news and one home guard to keep pups and sitters safe from marauding predators. That way it keeps it from being too PVP, since people don't seem to like that, while also offering more ways for wolves to contribute to a pack!

I support as well. Maybe generated wild animals/wolf packs could attack a pack when a player is logged off
