In addition to the Wolvlocke Legacy Edition ruleset...

I. Future alphas must be descendants of Kamik and Amaguq.

II. Only the Alpha Female may breed with the Alpha Male.

III. Respect is earned, not given.

IV. Life is sacred. Do not kill for pleasure, kill to survive.

V. Protect pups and expectant mothers at all costs.

VI. Accept outsiders only if they prove their worth.

VII. The strong survive, and the weak perish.

Illness Recovery Chances

Pack Roles
Alphas - The main breeding pair. They make the major pack decisions and produce most of the offspring.
Scribes - Decipher messages and visions sent by the Spirits.
Travelers (scouts)- Wolves that explore surrounding areas in search of resources and hunting opportunities.
Hunters - Work in groups to provide food for the pack. They can hunt alone if absolutely necessary.
Pupwatchers - Supervise the youngest pups in order to increase their chance of survival. Limited to wolves under the age of 2 years. Only one pupwatcher is allowed at a time.
Taxidermists - Special wolves that tan pelts/hides, clean bones, etc. for wearing, trading, and nesting.
Combatants - Defend the territory against dangerous animals that pose a threat to the safety of the vulnerable members of the pack, such as rival wolf packs, bears, coyotes, etc. They occasionally bring back trophies for the taxidermist(s).

Spirit Blessing Die Rolls
Snowdust's blessings: Once every WD year, a die will be rolled to determine if a Revival blessing is recieved. If a 6 is rolled, a blessing will be granted and one wolf can be saved from lore-related death. Wolves can only receive one revival in their life. Blessings do not stack and they expire at the end of each year if not used.
Fallen Timber's blessings: Once a season (7 real days) a die can be rolled to determine if a Healing blessing is recieved. If the die lands on a 2 or 5, one healing salve use may be used to heal a wolf. These healing salve blessings do not stack and will expire at the start of the next season.
Cheyenne's blessings: Once a season, a die can be rolled to determine if a Hunting blessing is recieved. If a 3 or 4 is rolled, one hunting party will receive an extra hunt for every day of the season.

3 Month Overview for Autumn

We've finally managed to collar one of the alphas of the newly formed pack in the glacier, which we've promptly named the Silvertip Pack after the mountain range they reside in. The pair-- Kamik (SF001) and Amaguq (SM002) have had a litter of five puppies! Our team is very excited to watch this pack grow and hopefully thrive up here in the Arctic.

Unfortunately, winter is on its way, and the two yearlings may be struggling with keeping the pups alive in such brutal conditions. We wish them the best of luck!

3 Month Overview for Winter

This winter was not easy for the Silvertip Pack. At the start of the season, two pups succumbed to the bitter cold. Our team was sad to watch as the two alphas grieved, but alas, there wasn't much we could do. As brutal as it is, this is just the way nature is.

Now that spring is here, we should hopefully be seeing the pack thrive. More critters will be out and about, providing plenty of hunting opportunities for the less-experienced pair. I hope they're able to gain their footing soon enough so they can better provide for the pack in the coming months.

On a much more positive note, my team and I have witnessed the pair interacting with each other much more often! We even got a picture of the two cuddling up with the puppies in the snow. How cute!

3 Month Overview for Season

This was quite the eventful season! Right as winter was ending, yet another pup died, although we're not quite sure how. The remaining two pups of the litter, SF004 and SF006, are around 6 months old now and are getting big fast! They've been more active than ever before, stalking critters and tussling with each other playfully. Soon they'll be old enough to accompany their parents on their hunting expeditions, although they won't be actively hunting themselves.

This isn't all, though! A lone wolf who had been hanging out in the territory as of recently has joined the pack. My team was unable to capture this, but when we checked in on the wolves one morning, we were quite shocked to see another adult wolf alongside them.
This wolf, who we've named "Sikuaq" SM008, has been helping the alpha pair hunt and feed the youngsters.

On the topic of hunting, the pack has been doing much better now that warmer weather has arrived. I hope that the insane amount of critter hunting the pair has done will allow the two to take down bigger prey this year with the help of Sikuaq. Good luck, Silvertip pack!

The two 6-month olds begin their training sessions hunting alongside the adults.

3 Month Overview for Summer

This season was relatively uneventful for the members of the Silvertip Pack. Hunting has been going decently, and the youngsters have been observing hunts and picking up on their parents' techniques. Hopefully they'll be a big help with the next litter come springtime.

As for the alpha pair, it seems that they've learned their lesson about having pups in the wintertime. My team and I have not seen any denning behaviors, leading us to conclude that the pups will be born in the spring. We're excited to see what the upcoming seasons will bring the pack!
