Allow All Males to Breed within the Pack

During early development they went through several ideas so it's possible that was the initial plan but cant say for sure |

I definitely support this. I keep getting super ugly and weak puppies because my breeding male was the companion wolf. |

Also, about Lioden, that's pretty realistic honestly, having only one male breeder in a pride, but this isn't Lioden. It's Wolvden, and like other people are saying, it's supposed to be a *separate* game from Lioden |

I actually find it unrealistic in lioden. It's not uncommon for 2 or 3 (usually brothers) to "rule" a pride. They all have breeding rights and can protect a larger territory. Given you have to pay quite a bit for very limited sub Male slots it bothers me its auto reject on lioden. But that's there not here and I still play lioden. But agreed it doesnt translate here very well at all. |

I totally agree with this, I was so excited for this game because I thought it meant I could have wolves from within my pack breed, as I love the lore it can create. I took advantage of the tutorial for this reason, setting a random male in my pack as the breeding male for the first litter. I now at least have 2 pups I can have some lore off of, but it’s still pretty disappointing that I’ll have to breed all my other females to random studs or my main male, rather than the pairings I had originally thought up for them. |

Support. IRL wolf packs have only 1 breeding male and 1 breeding female (usually), as these are the "parents" of the pack; most other members are blood relations and the 1 breeding pair rule is to avoid incest, basically, and all the genetic pitfalls of that. This is a game with talking snakes and friendly herbalist bears, and wolves that can be green(ish) or have dog markings like merle and husky. There's no need to ascribe to a strictly 1 breeding pair or 1 breeding male mechanic. The 1 breeding male mechanic is a very obvious "leftover" from Lioden and feels out of place in a wolf game. |

The "one breeding pair" is only during lean times IRL. If the pack and territory can only support one litter, the leaders breed. However, if prey is plentiful, multiple pairs can and do breed at the same time. |

@finnfinite: So... only your stud can breed in winter, half your males can breed in spring & autumn, and all your males can breed in summer? xD |
