yeah!! plus, as @Anarchie said (i havent read any other pages besides the first too lol), it would give so much more variety for lore/pairs. not only that, but imagine the variety of pups one could get. and males would actually have purpose- |

Building off the details about Indomita's breeding system, I will say their males need more limiting factors. However, what I *liked* about Indomita is that I could have multiple breeding males in multiple styles of play. I kept a main character stallion that led a very large herd, but I kept many other stallions in one off mated pairs alone on the map with their mare, or even a band of bachelors. It's been a long number of years since I have played Indomita so I am not sure of how its breeding system has changed, but I strongly dislike being limited to one pack, one breeding male. It severely limits the way I would like to play, and realistically packs are not the end all, be all of how wolves behave realistically. |

just popping back in to say still hoping for ALL males being able to breed, WITH breeding cooldowns (equal to females) and ONLY within the pack, besides the breeding male, who can continue to function as he currently does. with more people keeping males do to their increased use (i think people who only play this game for breeding underestimate how much lore-people would love to have useful males in their pack and multiple male-female pairings lol) and simply so their packs aren't a harem, there won't be an explosion of puppies and the market for puppies will improve, as straight-up ugly pups will be the only ones that don't sell, since males and females will be of closer value ^^ really hoping the next news update will address this issue, whenever it comes out!! |

I am not able to read the whole thread but yes please..... Especially for lore purposes, this would be such a good thing to add, and would make it much easier to sell male pups |

You know, aside from the obvious reasons, the one breeding male thing doesn't even make sense anyways because the females still stud with other males.. meaning they breed with more than one male.. but for some reason not ones inside their pack?? |

Hey, that Indomita system sounds really cool! Yeah, definitely would support something similar if not the exact same. :D |

I haven't read all the posts here, so these points may have already been made. I'm a long time Lioden player, I actually remember when studding wasn't available and when "old fashioned studding" was the only way to do it. The studding system was a huge help to the game and I was really happy it was implemented. But gameplay would be so much more enjoyable if you could use your sub-Males for breeding within your pride. After all, most players are going to end up with prides (packs here) that are daughters of their lead. Most people don't want to inbreed so that forces you to seek studs to outcross. While this can be an enjoyable part of the game sometimes it's difficult to find one that meets your criteria. Also it can lead to a popular sire syndrome. I don't really think that allowing breeding within packs would severely hurt the stud market, because players will still seek studs to outcross to bring in traits that they want into their pack. |

Just to add on to Zaynah - it can also get very expensive very quickly, most desirable studs have a 200sc or 1-3gc price often mandated by the game (200sc for 10marks minimum) and thats a lot for players that cant afford gc - either grinding sc for the fee or grinding sc to buy gc which is a very not stable market with lots of people trying to take advantage of others. Once you have even 2-4 ladies youd like to breed that can be 800sc or 4-12gc |
