Allow All Males to Breed within the Pack

Because that's the template they already had. Plus, if they do "only the stud can breed outside the pack but other males can breed within", they'd need the same studding framework they have now.

"The devs have also said they DON'T want wolvden to be a lioden clone, so it's possible something has been planned since the beginning."     Thanks @finnfinite that's good to hear.

I have no interest in lions since males are almost completely useless. Lionesses know this well so they only keep one sperm donor around that has to be fed. The male knows he's only useful for one thing in the pride so he fights off other males to keep his free meal ticket as long as possible.

Having Wolvden permanently organized like that would definitely put me off. I buy male pups/adols because they're useful as Hunters & Scouts when they're grown. I keep male NBW for the same reason. Being able to breed some of them will make them more valuable to me as I could develop complimentary bloodlines that strengthen the pack.

Please, please, PLEASE. If not this, overhaul the breeding male system, PLEASE. Spending GC to remove your breeding male "early" is absolutely uncalled for. I assumed that it would become free after waiting a certain point, but I was completely and entirely wrong. Now I need to try and scrounge for GC in order to put my Tier II male that I spent so much SC on as my next breeding male... Make it free to remove your male after waiting 30 or so days.

Edit: I'm especially angry since I had no choice but to set my lead with 2 markings as the pack stud during the tutorial. This is incredibly frustrating as I thought I'd use him for lore purposes, but now I'm going to go around hunting for GC to try and customize him to be 'profitable'.
Please, if you're going to keep this feature, at least change it so you spend SC and not GC to remove your breeding male "early".

Thanks for taking the time to read and consider.

^ You don't actually have to set your starter male as your breeding male in the tutorial. He's set temporarily for the breeding quest, then removed, and you have to manually set him again if you want him to be your breeding male. That said, I agree.

Yeah it's really not clear, unfortunately. I thought I had to set him manually too, so I locked myself in to a terrible stat breeder at the start. Ended up paying a bunch of GC to remove him, and I was NOT thrilled.

Hi @MiniNefarious  ~  @Mossfoot is right. I had the same angry reaction until another player told me it wasn't permanent after the tutorial. Unless you deliberately set him as the BM you still have a choice without having to pay him off to get outta the way. :)

i just wanted to add that this would really help me with my lead wolf lineage! i only wanted her to breed with the wolf from the starter quest, but he isn't my breeding male & they only had two male puppies — i want to be able to continue their line for lore purposes, but i can't without sex changing atm

It sort of did, but you can only have 2 non breeding male breedings each irl month. So it is heavily restricted, which I don't get honestly.

Meh, idm tbh

Maybe its just cause it's new and there might be problems or bugs before they decide to increase the amount of non-breeding male breedings per month later on?
