Allow All Males to Breed within the Pack

Support! I understand why the wolvden did things the way they are, but I was dismayed that choosing a breeding male was a permanent choice and that male couldn't be reinstated. I agree with the one stud per pack idea, bur I really would love to be able to breed the other males. Maybe non-studs could also be on a cooldown before being allowed to mate again to keep it limited. I definitely don't mind some sort of limit, I just would really love more options.

Support! I really don't like the one-lead-male playstyle and how male puppies are much less valuable as a consequence.  The lion pride structure is not realistic for wolves, and I don't find it fun, so I'd be happy to see some changes.

Though I like the idea of studing, the way it's all currently set up to work is incredibly limiting on one of the biggest appeals to breeding sims such as this: Being able to breed what you want. It's difficult to have multiple wants this way, forcing players to be very picky about what they want to do and how they go about it. By letting males breed within the pack, many problems will be solved and more possibilities opened within the community. 

I can see this working out very well with mutations and breed-only markings and bases too, so I'm curious how that would be affected

HUUGE support! I have some pretty males I'd love to breed and just having one as the stud kinda limits you to so many looks and genes, plus it has only had me really looking for females as of current, as the OP mentioned. 

I fully support this! This is exactly what I think would be best. 

I cannot stress how MAJORLY I support a change like this. I have been lurking in the previous "Within Pack Breeding" topics and I have read through all of this one as well and honestly can say that I feel the need to post something about this because of how important I think a change like this one needs to be implemented.

There have been so many different suggestions about how something like this would be implemented and though I do have my preferences I don't care HOW it is implemented more so than I just care that it IS.

I honestly didn't even realize how upset the one breeding male feature made me until I first read about the idea that things could be different. Now I think about this problem every time I log onto Wolvden. When going into this game I wanted to have more MALES than females and because of the fact that, presently, males cannot pass on ANYTHING unless they are the breeding male has made it so my pack is mostly female. I really can't say it better than the rest of this threads posts, but what I can say is that something NEEDS to be done about this.

The only suggestion I really have that adds to this thread at this point is to perhaps have a cap on the amount of different females a NON-stud wolf is allowed to breed to. If you make it a low cap, 1-3 different females, that would prevent people from ignoring the current stud system and just tossing females around to non-stud wolves for "traditional" breeding. I feel like this would still give the flexibility desired from inter-pack breeding while not completely ignoring the impact of a change like this on the current stud market.

I would like to see more breedable males but not all of the I think if it was all males even if it was restricted to pack only it would still greatly diminish the stud market of everyone was just able to breed for free especially as time goes on more and more players will get better wolves and no longer need to stud out

So I'm against making all males breedable 

But I am for adding one or maybe two additional slots for in pack breeding only this would allow for better lore for RP players and give males more value but would also help protect the stud market in the long run

Totally agreed! Also that will be useful for people who don't want/can't afford to buy studs.

I'd love to have this implemented! Total support! It's a pain to sex-change all the males.
