Allow All Males to Breed within the Pack

Support!

I would be fine if you could only breed with the females within your pack and recently bought ones just get a cooldown so people wouldn't be able to make SC/GC out of it.

If males are given a breeding cooldown then they don't need a trade-breeding blackout.  If they don't have a breeding cooldown there is still a lot of trust in selling a male you want to keep for someone to breed with and trade back.  I wouldn't do it.

Don't really have anything to say that hasn't been already, but support! This was such a bizarre mechanic to carry over from lioden. That's pretty much the only breeding sim I can see such a mechanic working in. Here it just, doesn't work.

100% Support

Not only will this help people who do lore wolves but also people who do massive breeding projects and personally I'm all for anything that makes breeding projects a little bit easier as achieving that dream wolf takes a long time

As far as I can tell Wolvden is intended to be a breeding and wolf sim... yet the completely arbitrary limitation on a male's breeding prohibits the overwhelming majority of them from participating in either aspect and flies in the face of what I would logically expect from a game centered around (a fanciful depiction of) wolves.

To try and impose a patriarchal harem structure here when no living canid (that I'm aware of) has a social hierarchy like that feels incredibly forced, as does trying to add higher value to a studding system when many studs simply are not worth the minimum their owners can charge (requiring manual refunds, but that's another can of worms.)

People keep offering other solutions, like male-only professions or fewer male pups born,  but the solution to an implausible gender-specific gameplay limitation isn't adding even more implausible gender-specific gameplay limitations.

Non-breeding males need to be allowed to breed. Full support.
I do agree there should be some limitations to their breeding and like many of the ideas here. However I wouldn't want it to be a gold-currency item, Wolvden is already pretty heavily monetized.

I"m not sure if I've already left my support on this before but full support for this!

I struggle so much when I get gorgeous pups but they just happen to be male and I have to choose between buying a sex changer or attempting to sell them when nobody else wants to buy male pups either. Being able to interbreed with males in your own pack would fix this so much.

I personally don't think you would need a breeding cooldown on the males, because your ability to breed pups is entirely dependent on the females heat. So being able to breed more often with your own males wouldn't change it, it just means you have more options than your stud or other people's studs.

Majorly support this, I have multiple merle males, but I just use them as hunters and scouts at the moment. I'd love to be able to breed them with my other packmembers, especially those in their age range.
