Misontic I disagree with studs becoming useless if the two breeding per month was changed. There will always be studs that will have use, and be studded to. Whether it's stats, mutations, bases, or markings, certain wolves will have an appeal that some player's own wolves don't match. |

Also what doesn’t sit right with me by the pair bonds is that it literally defeats the purpose of even having one when the female of the pair could still breed to other studs. Like what’s the point of pair bonds if that’s the case then? Not to mention, 30 day cool down is just ridiculous as this whole thing severely limits the non stud males anyway. So no, 2 breeding per month limit is dumb af when you realize that there’s no real limitations of the pair itself |

I personally would much prefer if the whole breeding cap was removed. The 30 day cooldown (vs female 20 cooldown + 4 pregnancy + 5 nursing = 29) for the males is already enough of a cooldown as it forces players to not IBF their pregnant female or chase young pups if they wish to keep their pairs in synch without paying for an elk heart every time. The fear that the market would be flooding with puppies is ridiculous, in my opinion. If someone has a pack of 200 wolves and from those all are of equal gender ratio and paired together. That would make 100 pairs. And even that would create much less pups than the alternative of having 1 breeding male that every month breeds with 199 females. |

The limitation is that the pairbonded male can only breed within the pack. Nothing else within the system has changed, which some people will like because they may find a stud they prefer to the male that they bonded their female with. And others may like because they prefer the concept of polyamory to mating for life. And still others will be okay with because they don't need studding the female to be limited, if they prefer to treat the bond as unbreakable they can just play without studding that female out. |

Kaamos And funny thing about that is, with the arguments that mention flooding the market... What do they think the market is now, with countless puppies sitting at 5-50 SC and going nowhere? The market has already been hit by wave after wave of tsunamis, so claiming the market is going to become ruined implies it's not already trashed. |

It absolutely could, though. Anecdotally, I just chose to breed one of my females to one of my males rather than pay for a stud. Others are going to do the same. If there was not a limit, or if the limit is too high, people will choose not to stud in many (not all) cases. If, say, I am breeding for stats, I can go and buy a high stated male wolf and breed him to the limit each month. Right now that can only be done twice per month. That is not enough for even one full hunting party (which is good!). Yes, there will be males with higher stats, mutations, or special markings that may not lose requests to the same extent, but I feel like that does not invalidate everyone else's studs losing many of their requests (which a high limit is likely to cause). The 2/month limit seems like a really good balance between keeping a few males, and also ensuring some requests are still sent out. |

The whole entire reason I do not often use studs is because I am absolutely sure any pups I have will never sell. I would be much more open to using studs if males were more useful because then I'd be more confident male puppies I'd get would have equal amount of selling. As of right now with the 2 breedings per month males are still crippled and have very little use beyond a paperweight compared to the potential of females and thus I am still more inclined to keep to breeding mostly to my own breeding male. The door swivels both ways and these limits are preventing an equally potential amount of players from studding as they may feel it a wasted investment when one entire gender of pups is so utterly worthless compared to the other. |

@Mistonic I agree with most of your points, however, I still want a higher limit. Not by much; I'm thinking 4 breedings per month. Or, alternatively, changing it to a limit of 2 pair bonds CREATED each month. |
