I agree that it's definitely a bit of an annoyance. Perhaps a way to need to level up the wolf before starting a New hunt? I guess it all depends on if the results of a hunt are pre-determined, or determined at the time in which you hit 'end hunt' to see the results? In the latter case, I suppose then I can understand the desire to level up the wolf beforehand. |

Pretty pretty please? I wish we didn't ever *HAVE* to level a wolf, especially our lead. With health not regenerating why can't we at least manage when we use the rare free healing? |

Bouncing off of what Vulli said, I think that it should be just like scouting and the herbalist, unless the results for hunting are determined at the moment of hitting the button. You are able to retrieve your scout along with whatever amount of space they scouted without having to level them up first (at least, the only time I ever notice they can level up is AFTER the scout is over), and herbalists can bring items back without needing to level up before ending the forage. In all, I am not sure why hunting, scouting, and herbalist mechanics in terms of the retrieved items/land aren't the same - looking mostly at having to level up hunters before completing a hunt whereas for scouts and the herbalist this can wait until after the scout/forage is completed - unless hunting is the only one that is a determined outcome based on the stats of the hunter in the moment of completing the hunt. |

It actually was briefly tested swapping it to before the hunt began during beta. It was worse for at least two reasons: 1. The error message happened after you chose every wolf’s role, undoing all the work you did arranging who did what, 2. Sending your wolves out tends to happen immediately after taking back the prey rather than 30 minutes after. As it is currently, I often visit my den or the front page while my wolves are hunting so I see the level without needing the error. When it happens before the hunt begins, I never see the level before I set up the hunt. Results are determined when you finish the hunt, which is why it is where it is. Hunting results are based on stats, so it is beneficial to level before finishing the hunt. Making it not mandatory wouldn’t be game-breaking (from a game balance perspective, anyway. Not sure about coding), but I’d prefer it be a toggle if anything. I like the reminder in case I don’t see the level before I finish the hunt. |

I agree with Befores points. I play on my moblie phone 90% as have an infant son. It is very annoying and time consuming to go back to den to level up and continue once the error message flashes. when you are semi busy you can kind miss completing this return and be like dang thought I set up a hunt. |

I'd be content if it showed you needed to level up BEFORE you arrange your hunting team OR had a way to do it from the hunting screen with one click of a button. Or, you know, an auto level up. The issue isn't game breaking, per se, but it's been slowly getting on my nerves every time it happens. |

I really think auto level up would be the most convenient option - I don't want my current activity interrupted for leveling regardless of when it'd happen. |

I agree, I do believe that an auto feature toggle for this would be great, as I just had this happen to me again today. |

i agree with Before and Nika :) i think leveling up the wolf before the hunt is completed is beneficial, but an automatic option would be nice, or a way to level them up from that screen. i usually just click the wolf's name when it pops up because it takes you directly to the wolf, but i understand that it can be a hassle for people. |
