Being able to alter your trade without having to cancel it.

Yes! If all offers are automatically rejected. It could go on a (very) short cooldown after being edited to prevent the buying out an edited version of a trade before refreshing |

I agree with editing only if there are no present offers. You can reject and edit, or edit before they've been made- but definitely no editing with something up there. That's a one-way ticket to scamming. |

god i would love this, theres been a few times where i realized i over-priced something and wanted to change it but instead had to remove and the repost. not a MAJOR thing mind, but allowing an edit would be so so nice. |

Maybe a good in-between would be that you could save a trade, aka make a copy if it? So instead of editing an existing trade, you could save the title/byuout/content. Then you delete the existing trade and create a new one, then chose the saved one (maybe labeled under the title). It will pop up and you can edit it again before you make it public. Maybe there is a limit of 10 unique trade setups so it doesn't overwhelm the system. This would also help if you wanted to recreate a trade (for multiple herb /gc - sc trades and so on) |

Support! I would love to be able to mark down my listings without having to take them down all the way ;v; Sometimes my habit of being afraid I'll underprice something means that I'll sometimes overprice, and I end up adjusting the prices a LOT. I end up feeling bad for reposting the same trade multiple times because I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to get around the bump limit mechanic or anything, I just want to offer it at a fair price and get it out of my den/inventory. I think not allowing players to offer on a trade while it's in edit mode is a great compromise to prevent accidents. You could even add an error notification at the top of the page that says "This trade lot cannot be currently offered on as it is in edit mode, try again soon." |

With the caveats that others / OP have already mentioned re: not being able to tweak a trade with offers currently standing, I fully support editing trades without cancelling them. Sometimes it's a typo in the trade title I didn't notice for a few days, or its adjusting the trade title / price to reflect the current market. 10/10 would lurve this feature. |

Or maybe it could be coded to only allow you to edit your title/the contents of the 'what I want in return' box? Then you could alter it to fix typos or let people know you're willing to accept offers lower than the buyout price, but you wouldn't be able to cheat and change the contents at the last minute or jack up the price. You'd only have to cancel the trade if you wanted to raise the price or change what's in the trade. The first doesn't happen often, and the second is probably just a safe anti-cheat policy. But I definitely agree it would be nice to not have to cancel and remake a trade just to tweak something in the title. |

this would be super helpful! im sure there's something that could be done that when you click "edit trade" it loads the trade in a new way so that if someone else tries to click "buy-out" or something it will say "this trade is being edited" or "this trade is unavailable right now" or something— basically code it so clicking the initial "edit trade" essentially removes it from the TC until you click the "finish edit" button, which puts it back up, if that makes sense? this could also help prevent a super common problem where sleazy players hunt for new, accidentally under-priced trades (ex. a 3xmerle ebony female priced at 35SC instead of 35GC) and buy them out super quick, where even if the og poster of the trade realizes their mistake and tries to take it down, they're just a little too late. obviously it wouldn't reverse the problem and nothing ever will (i get that, the mods can't make the call on what was an accident and not even if sometimes it seems super obvious) but it would probably help, even if just a little bit ^^ |

Full support from me! Most of the time when I can't sell an item or a wolf, I reduce the price and to be able to do that without creating a new trade would be amazing! |

Yes! Full support, as I forgot to add a part to my trade's title and promptly realized I couldn't edit. Obviously, no editing should be allowed with any present offers. |
