i wish the poll ends up swaying towards preferences and not all available, a bit disappointed any compromise wasn't in the poll and the options are rather polar or just "i dont care". none of these options really fit what i'd like (keeping sexuality, but introducing queerplatonic dating with an increased daily pool [+2/+3 instead of +1 from quests] to enjoy the entire event) so i just chose the closest.

the event is very activity heavy and if we have to choose between i think exclusivity is best. it wont be forcing players to play 8+ hours a day to max their dates and balances the rewards better because of the slow dateable gain. (people who dont log everyday or are disabled/have to work wont be punished as bad)

as a queer person, i find it very important to have that representation remain intact. it will always feel wrong to me to be able to romantically date a gay male wolf, and pretty disheartening to see very obviously queer representation wolves (like violet, lesbian) being erased because of just currency and decor. i hope compromises from queer people are genuinely considered. crossing my fingers for my queerplatonic suggestion (to be distinguished from regular friendships that dont fit the theme of the event).

Tbh, i prefer the dateable NPC wolves to keep their preferences as when i did the event i felt... odd about the NPCs being Playersexual. It felt so wrong to me and would've liked only the ones that would've been compatable with my Aro-Ace lead

I'm a genderfluid Demi myself so it ties well but I let my wolf be themselves aka very immersive semi-real/survival mode based play style). I wonder if it'd be possible to let people choose later on in the future via a toggle on your account which you'd prefer.

I certainly know that i Hated the wolves who weren't a match for my wolf, like at all. I did force myself to max out affection just cause i could but I felt... off. Like it's wrong to me personally. Maybe that's just Me but i dunno. Maybe something to think about at least? Not everyone would like playersexual NPCs that have nothing else going for them as they (except for Tala and Lorcan) don't appear in events or anything so there's no 'bond' or anything much about them via you interacting with them.

For example, in the sister site LioDen (I'M SORRY DEVS BUT THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET MY POINT ACROSS T^T)
There's NPCs in certain story events where you can interact with them via the story and/or quests and get a feel for their personality and really come to be fond of them and actually would Love to spend time with them. These dateable NPCs are... random and empty... bland even. Sorry but unless we get the same kinda experience with these NPCs in future events (Maybe with awesome stories to go with it like the Celtic event on here) Then i may be more likely to enjoy these faceless nobodies. Build on them is what i Love to see, please and thank you. ~

Seconding what someone said earlier; I don't have a strong preference, but I lean towards "playersexual". If this isnt the case, there should still be an alternative path with the NPC to receive the decor.

While I'd prefer the wolves remain playersexual, if they don't then can the wolf decors be added to the T3 shop? That ways peeps who like the preferences & peeps who like the playersexual choices can both get at least something.

The lunar wolves though are a different story. They need to stay playersexual & have a higher chance during the lunar event to show up. Getting screwed out of a wolf because RNG screwed you & kept giving non limited wolves to date isn't fun, it's frustrating.

usually in video games I prefer all romance options to be pansexual, but the "playersexual" in this event felt very off-putting as a queer person. honestly, as a gay trans guy, having characters that are straight-male or lesbian coded interested in my wolf when I chose male as my gender was extremely uncomfortable, and it was kind of disappointing how many characters that weren't compatible with my lead wolf were given to me early on, so I don't know if I missed out on characters I would have liked more. I don't think already established sexualities should be erased, and I don't want characters clogging up my pool if they aren't compatible.

honestly I agree with others that we need some sort of compromise, or a toggle or something. if all options remain playersexual I probably won't participate in the event in future years. an event that doesn't respect my gender is a hard pass, tbh.
