An update which allows us "set" or "lock" hunting party roles

An update which allows us "set" or "lock" hunting party roles

This has been one of my biggest petty annoyances since I joined WD, and since it wasn't already added in the QoL update, I thought I'd suggest it here!

I have recently had to replace several members of my hunting parties, and it's been an absolute nightmare. Often I have situations where my 300+ in each primary stat stalkers shifted into the role of finisher, or vice-versa. With only gaining 1% proficiency gained from each hunt, it can often take weeks to finally get enough proficiency to put them in the correct role.

This isn't helped by the fact that I mostly use WD while at work or in school, meaning I can't give the game 100% of my attention. Leading to inevitable misclicks in which I reflexively send wolves on hunts with the wrong roles, and make the process take even longer.

My suggestion would be to still have it start with these default roles, but allow us to optionally "lock" their positions if we want to keep wolves in certain roles, so we don't have to keep resetting them manually over and over again. For example we could choose to set a certain wolf to always be stalker/finisher/chaser ect. Unless they are nested or otherwise prevented from doing so.

Hope you'll consider this idea! Thank you for reading my text wall.

Yes! Totally support

I feel like this could be a drop down option like choosing primary stats, but instead the 3 hunter roles

I want this! I need this!
I'd like for my wolves to stick to the role they have had for 15 levels when I add a new wolf in.

Support 100%!!! I choose my hunters specifically for each role and then half the time I have to check who's who to keep them in order

had this issue happen so often and it is annoying esp when you indeed cannot give the game full attention, just a quick 'okay send out' and done only to find that dang it, a few wolves weren't in the right roles. >.<;

Yes please! I actually have put prefixes in front of my wolves' names so that I don't forget who does what...

100% support!

When I was able to send out a fourth hunting partie, I created a new one as the fourth one. I didn't remember to set what roles they each are, ans then, I noticed one day that they all had 100% proficiency; two of them in the wrong role.
It took me like three to four weeks to cancel that out again, especially since I didn't ALWAYS remember to set who is what role now.

I also always have to think of it when I switch out my hunters, and it annoys me. This mechanic would make everything much simpler LOL.

Hello!

The ability to set or lock hunters to specific hunting roles has been previously suggested in this suggestion thread so we will lock yours as a duplicate. Please feel free to add your support or suggestions for other ways this idea could work on that thread.

Thank you!
