LORE/BACKSTORY:
Neuvi was a young pup when a strange new pack took up land near her packs territory. "Don't go near them, Neuvi" her mother often warned her. "They're dangerous." She didn't fully know why her mother seemed so concerned about the other pack, they didn't look dangerous to her.
One day she was playing in the surf a gray pup she didn't know bounced up to her. "Hello!" She chirps. "I'm Neuvi!"
The new pup seems to grin at her. "Hello! Name's Wriothesley, but you can call me Wrio." He moves closer. "You have a pretty name, Neuvi.."
She paws at the sand bashfully. Some of the other pups in the pack had complimented her before, but none of them like Wriothesley. She was about to respond when she hears her mother calling her. "Neuvi! Where are you?"
"O-Oh.. My mother's calling me.. I need to go. Will I see you again?" Her downed mood brightens back up again when Wriothesley nods, and with one last smile at him she takes off back to her mother. "COMING MAMA!"

A few days later Neuvi sneaks away down to the shore once more, hoping to see the strange pup again. She bats idly at the foam caused from the surf hitting the shore, whining quietly when she doesn't see him. "Maybe he isn't coming..?" she thinks, not entirely sure why she's so upset at that thought.
Suddenly, a shadow is cast across her face, causing her to look up. "Wriothesley!"
The gray wolf grins at her, plopping down next to her. "I saw you down here and snuck away." He explains, playfully batting some water at her.
She yelps, having not expected such, before she's batting water back at him. Soon that section of the shore is filled with the sound of their laughter as they chase one another up and down the beach, playfully splashing and tackling each other.

It'd been almost a month of knowing Wriothesley when her mother found out about their friendship. After a long lecture she runs down to the beach, hoping Wriothesley would be there. "He's dangerous, Neuvi! His whole pack is. Stay away from him. I told you that already." Her mother had said. She didn't know why her Mama didn't like Wriothesley. He was so nice to her! Still, she snuck away again that night to see Wriothesley down by the beach.
"Neuvi!" He calls when he sees her, bounding towards her. He skids to a stop in front of her, spraying sand everywhere. "Are you okay? You were late." He pads closer, looking all over her, eyes anxious as he searches for any injuries.
She giggles, nudging her muzzle against his. "I'm okay, Wriothesley." She assures him. "My mama found out I'd been seeing you and got upset... But I still snuck out!"
"Oh..." He looks conflicted. "I dont want to cause conflict between you two.."
"You're not!" She hurries to tell him, bumping their muzzles against each other again. "Mama doesn't think I should be around you.. But I want to be! So I'll keep sneaking out to see you!"
His gaze and posture softens, and he bumps his muzzle back against hers. ".. Alright." After a moment of content silence. "I found you something. Stay here, Ill get it for you."
She tilts her head but stays put like he requested, watching him bound off. A few minutes later he returns with a shell in his mouth.
He drops the shell into the sand and noses it towards her, eyes bright.
"Its-.. I love it!" She chirps, bouncing towards him and nuzzling against him.

Lore: Vutran grew up frolicking playfully in the woods that make up the Meropide packs territory under the watchful eye of his mother Neuvi and his father Wrio, leader of Meropide. He knew from a young age that he was never likely to become pack leader after his father, and he was fine with that. Being a leader was a LOOOT of work, but he still wanted to help the pack in some way, they were family after all! One day, while playing around with a butterfly pal, he had a brilliant idea! He'd travel to other packs and then when he returned home he would be able to help guide whichever younger sibling did become the next pack leader alongside his father! After gaining his parents approval, and with high spirits, he was ready to set out on his adventure!

Lore added (optional): Vutran helped the Kingdom of Light by hunting for them on his own during the wintertime, as he was a little overwhelmed by the number of wolves in this pack. The mothers of the hungry puppies of the pack gifted Vutran an Owl Talon Necklace crafted by them, as a token of their appreciation for all of Vultran's hard work.

Lore added (optional): Vutran's ears perked up when he came across a tree he knew well. Then another. And another. Soon he began smelling some familiar scents; The herbal notes that always followed Meropide's kind herbalist Aiden, the woody scent that clung to their best chaser (when he left) Charlie, and the smokey scent that permeated around their old, gruff yet sometimes friendly stalker Dave. He stopped in his tracks before his tail began to wag excitedly. He was on pack land! He begins running, winding around trees and jumping over rocks. He couldn't wait to tell his parents everything he'd seen! He grunts when his headlong run was rudely interrupted by a wolf slamming into him and pinning him down, snarling.
"Woah woah woah lady!" he yelps, disgruntled that his quest to get to his families den was interrupted. "No need to be so rude!" He tries to shake her off, but that just makes her even angrier.
"How did you get past our scouts?" she growls at him. "We dont take kindly to intru-" her threat was cut off by another wolf speaking up.
"Aubree. Let him up."
"But-!"
"Charlie said to let him up, Aubree." another voice cuts in.
His ears perk up as he finally manages to wiggle out from under the she wolf. "Dave! Charlie! Haha! How are you two? How's Aiden? Any pups ye- Owww! Daveee!" His questions are cut off by a frankly dramatic yelp as Dave bops his nose.
"Go see your family, Vutran." Charlie laughs. "We can catch up later."
His tail begins wagging once more at the mention of his family, and with renewed vigor, he takes off again, leaving the two bemused hunters and a confused hunting party behind.

FAMILY REUNIONS:
Vutran's tail wags faster as he bounds down the path to his parents den. In his excitement, he trips over his own paws and goes tumbling. His ears perk up when he hears a familiar growly laugh.
"Careful son. Still haven't grown into your paws yet?" His father asks, looking down at him with an amused expression. Vutran grins, twisting around and scrambling onto his paws.
"Dad!" He chirps, grinning. He notices that he's just a bit shorter than his father now.
His father huffs, bumping his muzzle against his shoulder. "Come on, Kid. Your mother is waiting for you and your siblings want to meet you."
He bounces after his dad, just as excited to meet his new siblings and see his mom again. "Right behind you dad!"
