Stagcall The tom instinctively chased the scent, leading him to moonfeather...and a young cat whose the new scent belonged to. Why on earth would they bring back a loner? "I thought I made it clear to find the strange scent, but what is this you bring me, moonfeather?" Stagcall growled, clearly unimpressed. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather narrowed his eyes in a friendly manner as he turned to Kestrelheart, after they both watched Moonfeather and Copper disappear into the distance. "Well, looks like we're on our own! Ready to push forward? Maybe this time we'll finally reach the source of the scent," he said, rolling his eyes good-naturedly. |

Kestrelheart Kestrelheart watched Moonfeather herd the apprentice back towards the camp after she somewhat scampered off, and she let out a quiet sigh she hadn't known she was holding in. Turning her eyes to Pigeonfeather, they softened without the company of a strange cat. Something about loners and rogues made her so on edge… even a mere apprentice-aged cat still put her on guard. Anything could happen… "How do you think Stagcall will receive them?" she quietly mewed once the other two were far away enough, not wanting to spike any heated words. She beckoned for Pigeontail to begin walking alongside her as she started heading in the opposite direction. She did manage a smile at his lighthearted comment, though. Despite starting a conversation, she still kept her eyes and ears out for any sudden movements or even other loners. |

Moonfeather Moonfeather bit back a retort, disappointed by Stagcall's response. "This is Copper. I brought her here so she could have a home, maybe even a family. She's only a kit, she wouldn't have survived by herself! I couldn't leave her there!" She answered, louder than she meant to be. She was surprised by the sudden outburst, but knew why. Copper was exactly like Moonfeather, and she wanted to give Copper a better life as a young cat than herself. She wanted to give Copper a home, a family. Surely Stagcall knew that. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather tilted his head in thought as he padded alongside Kestrelheart, appreciating that they could both relax. "I'm not sure..." he mewed finally, "like...ideally, Stagcall welcomes her in because we definitely need more cats in the camp to help out, and she almost seems to have a sense of herbs, which would be incredibly helpful. But I know Stagcall is very wary of the unfamiliar, nowadays. Not without warrant," he added, lest she think he was criticizing Stagcall's ways. After a few more steps, tracking the scent, he tried to restore some of his bounciness. "What do you think? Maybe he'll just chase her out of the camp altogether and she'll haunt us like a ghost, since I get the feeling she's the type of kit to never leave a cat alone," he laughed, dropping behind a few steps so he could nip at Kestrelheart's ankles in a playful demonstration of Stagcall chasing Copper out. Pigeonfeather trotted back up beside her afterward to confirm that it was a joke, eyes sparkling with humor and his tail swinging from side to side, relaxed. It was nice being out in the forest; it made him forget about all the things that had happened. It was important to restore one's good mood once in a while. |

Copper (lol) "I-I'm sorry, I didn't k-know..." She apologised, still slightly trembling from the scarred she-cat in front of her. Their one good eye looks, weird... She thought, looking into her split gaze. The colour split down the middle? How is that possible? (Read Silverbloom's bit) She slowly walked up to Silverbloom and was surprised by how calming her cleaning was, now seeing how Silverbloom truly was. Silverbloom (I did it again  )Silverbloom sighed, it wasn't this kit's fault that she didn't know what happened. "Come here" She told Copper, looking at her as calm as she could, once the little spotted cat was close enough, she started to clean her. This was the only was she knew how to calm someone down. |

Moonfeather Moonfeather purred, Silverbloom seemed to warm up to Copper, and Copper seemed to like the silver she-cat as well. Moonfeather wondered if Copper would allow her to go back to the patrol and have Copper stay with Silverbloom. Moonfeather turned back to Stagcall, waiting for his response, she didn't want him to get angry at her, or the kit. |

Kestrelheart Kestrelheart listened closely, slowly nodding her head with every couple of words Pigeonfeather said. "I'm not sure… I suppose we've never seen how he acts with a new cat before, so it will definitely be a first for us," she mused, her eyes widening when she felt the tom's nip on her heel. She jumped a little forward, but laughed, relaxing much better afterwards. "And that is true… hmm.. I guess we will see?" |

Pigeonfeather "Yes, hopefully all goes well," he said, shooting a glance back in the direction of the camp. "I feel like-" However, what he said was cut off as he suddenly strongly picked up the scent that Stagcall had been talking about. It filled his nostrils... unfamiliar, but not necessarily bad? It didn't carry the inherent danger of a badger or fox scent, it was just...odd. "Do you smell that?" he asked Kestrelheart. |

Silverbloom The silver she-cat flinched at how loud Moonfeather seemed to be, this was unusual for her, but she knew why. The dark grey she-cat was born outside of the clan, she didn't want the same thing to happen to Copper. Yet she still felt like there was one thing she needed to talk to her about. "Can I talk to you Moonfeather?... Alone?" She asked, wondering how Stagcall would react if she left Copper with him. How would Moonfeather react to her question? Copper The thought of being alone with a cat that seemed to want her dead fluffed up her fur with terror. What would happen? |
