Kestrelheart

Kestrelheart let out a small relieved sigh as the tom killed the giant rabbit, and then giggled as he quickly put the prey down, noting that they'd probably have to carry the rabbit together.

"If they live like rabbits, I'm sure the mass of them are hidden underground, especially if they caught wind of us," she wondered, leaning down to sniff the carcass, somewhat to log the scent in her mind.

"Yes, I'm very glad it didn't turn out to be some crazy new predator," the she-cat sighed as well, brushing her tail against the ground. She simply nodded at his comment about Stagcall and Copper, still unsure of how to feel about the whole thing...

"I think this is definitely enough, and I really don't want to risk getting kicked to death," Kestrelheart grinned, already leaning down to pick up the hindside of the rabbit.

Silverbloom

Catching the scent of a grassland hare and swiftly followed it, Silverbloom was surprised to find the patrol. "Great catch! Grassland hares can feed a whole Clan!" She stated, trotting up to them. The forest calmed her and now there was no trace of the fury from before. The prairie nearby seemed calm and peaceful, like nothing could harm it. She wished both her eyes worked so she could take in the beautiful sight better.

Moonfeather

Moonfeather set Copper down carefully near a stream. They were hidden well, so hopefully the others couldn't find them. Moonfeather began licking the small wound on the young calico, and grabbed a few herbs and cobwebs. She wasn't very skilled in medicine, but knew a little, and knew how to clean an open wound.

Copper

"I-I can treat it myself, but if you want, you can help! I'd suggest marigold, not yarrow, it's a orange flower." She quickly meowed quickly. Yarrow was for sore pads, not open wounds. Looking around the spotted cat saw some of the herb she mentioned and quickly grabbed it. "This is marigold!" She told Moonfeather, passing the flower to the grey she-cat.

Moonfeather

Moonfeather purred.

"Oh, of course. I thought I grabbed marigold, my mind's been focused on other things." She grabbed the flower, and mixed a few herbs into a poultice for the wound, letting Copper help too. She admired Copper's knowledge on things, and how she was able to care for herself.

Stagcall

Stagcall could say the same to silverbloom suddenly ripping the little one from his grasp, not thinking that it would severely harm the loner, he watched as the silver she-cat trotted away from the camp, then turned to the stranger following moonfeather before making his way.

The tom shook off his head and let out a deep sigh. "If only they knew who led those dogs." He mumbled to himself. Stagcall sat beside one of the pine trees at the entrance alone. He hasn't given up on it yet, though stagcall thought it's really unusual how those two she-cats easily accepted a cat, furthermore, a loner at that.

Copper

Letting Moonfeather place the mixture on her cut, Copper was curious on what the she-cat knew about herbs. "How many herbs do you know, and what do you think they do?" She asked. If Moonfeather was wrong, she could correct her, and perhaps she would learn some more healing options.

Kestrelheart

Kestrelheart dropped the large rabbit and stood up fully as soon as she heard rapid rustling heading in their direction, and nearly hissed when Silverbloom suddenly appeared before them. As she slowed her pace and walked towards them, she allowed her heart to calm down.

While a part of her knew that dogs sounded much heavier, and would sound like they were destroying the brush, she still faintly felt like it could have been one.

She made a quiet sound at the she-cat's comment, but then her expression turned to one more confused. Why was Silverbloom back? Did she trace their scent all the way here? Was she trying to find the smell herself? Or had she just left the camp for another reason..?

"Ah, interesting name for it..." she blinked, keeping her questions at bay upon seeing her seemingly calm face.

Silverbloom

"I caught the first one of my Clan, they named it from where I found it! That prairie over there..." She pointed excitedly to the large patch of grass to her left, "...Is a perfect habitat for them! And before you ask, I had a... disagreement with Stagcall, that's why I'm here." She explained in the best way she could. Scenting a grassland hare nearby, she trotted over, a fox length away, and dropped into the hunter's crouch. Leaping for the hare she failed miserably and shook it off. "You saw nothing." She growled.

Pigeonfeather

When Pigeonfeather first heard the rustling and saw Kestrelheart drop the strange rabbit, he quickly began dragging it backwards, preparing to defend their kill from a loner or rogue. When Silverbloom stepped into sight, he let his fur relax and lay flat against his spine again. Immediately he felt ashamed. Was the bond between Clan cats so warped now that he couldn't even recognize the scent of his fellow camp mate? He was intrigued to hear that Silverbloom had already caught one of these before. She seemed to have been everywhere and done everything.

"You had a disagreement with Stagcall?" Pigeonfeather mewed, padding closer and politely ignoring her missed catch as she had requested. "I had thought Moonfeather sent you after us like we requested. Is everything okay back at the camp? How is the loner?" He shared a worried look with Kestrelheart.
