Moonfeather Moonfeather's head swiveled over to where she heard her name called. She saw Pigeonfeather, Kestrelheart, and Ravenpaw not far from them. She noticed Pigeonfeather was the one who called out. She turned to Silverbloom, and wondered if they should approach the patrol. Moonfeather didn't know how the conversation would go between the cats, so she stayed put, and let the others approach them. |

Silverbloom The she-cat sighed. She dwarfed the other cats, but they still got quite annoying, especially when you just want to be left alone. "What do you want?" She asked the patrol. The waterfall almost drowned her response, but she made it loud enough to make sure they heard. Turning to Ravenpaw, her stare said it all. Tell them we came out of the waterfall and I'll claw you to death. It only lasted a heartbeat, but she was sure the message got to him. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather made sure the fur on his back was laying smooth before he glanced at the other two cats in his patrol to make sure they were doing the same. This was no time to provoke a fight, no matter how he felt. It was true that perhaps Stagcall shouldn't have been so aggressive, but these she-cats had endangered the camp for what? Some loner kit who could clearly take care of herself? When he had suggested they take the cat back to camp, he had no idea it would end like this. These two she-cats had abandoned their Clan, leaving it open to attack, and worse, had disobeyed their leader and abandoned their duty. Where was their loyalty? Frankly, though Pigeonfeather didn't quite want to admit it, even to himself, his trust in them had greatly decreased. If they would take off without a word just because of Copper, imagine what a full-grown cat trying to manipulate them could do. They were far less trustworthy than he thought. Still, he hid all of that deep down. This was not the time, and he had not been there when the argument had happened. Maybe Pigeonfeather was seeing it through prejudiced eyes, so he padded forward, keeping his tail hung low and non-threatening and his ears perked forward. "We were sent by Stagcall! We'd just like to talk with you about what happened...it would be nice to hear your side of the story, right?" He looked at the rest of patrol. "Kestrelheart, Ravenpaw, do you have anything you'd like to say?" Pigeonfeather fixed them with a gaze that said though he had asked, if they made the rift deeper, he would have some strong words for them later. Which was about as angry as Pigeonfeather ever got. He particularly looked at Kestrelheart. Though he was finding himself admiring her strong personality and fiery temper, he did not want more trouble on their paws. |

Moonfeather Moonfeather took a deep breath, how would they explain this? Should they lie and say they were sending her away? Or should they tell the truth? Surely Pigeonfeather would understand why they did it. "We left the camp with Copper because, well, we went to find a safe place for her to stay. We wouldn't send her away, but we wouldn't keep her here either, not after what Stagcall said." Moonfeather meowed, " If you all think we weren't loyal to the group, that's a lie. We would never betray the group for just a kit." Moonfeather hated the lie, but she needed to say that, for Copper's safety. It wasn't entirely a lie, either, hopefully the others didn't think she was lying too. |

Silverbloom "And I was going to leave anyways, you all know what you did. Ravenpaw and Moonfeather were the only ones who didn't see me weak!" She hissed, already turning away. "Rainstrike's words were the last time..." She stated, now running away. Silverbloom felt enraged once more. She hated this! Leaving the others put a pit in her mind, but she knew this would stop a lot more pain. |

Moonfeather Moonfeather tried to chase after her friend, but the silver she-cat was too far away. "Wait! Silverbloom!" she called desperately, but she knew it was no use. She turned to the patrol, then back to where Silverbloom was running. Moonfeather began running after Silverbloom, knowing she wouldn't come back, but at least to talk to her. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather blinked helplessly for a split second, before breaking into a run after Moonfeather and Silverbloom. "What did I tell you?! They bolted!!" he yowled over his shoulder at Kestrelheart. "Come on! We have to get these cats back!" Suddenly, he skidded to a stop in the dirt, tail thrashing. "Wait! Copper must be inside that waterfall...Ravenpaw! Can you get her and plead with her to reason with the other two cats? We can't let them abandon this Clan!" Pigeonfeather paused, realizing how bossy he sounded, before quickly adding, "Please!" He knew he had led this patrol a little less democratically than the one before, but he was more concerned with the preservation of their Clan than anything else. They needed all the paws they could to keep this Clan afloat, though he hoped Ravenpaw...and Kestrelheart...didn't think any less of him because of the way he had led. If they did, he told himself he could revise his behavior after they got Moonfeather, Silverbloom, and hopefully Copper back at the camp. |

Moonfeather Moonfeather stopped running, out of breath. Silverbloom was faster than her, and that was surprising. She whipped around as Pigeonfeather and the patrol began chasing after them. She froze, deciding to deal with he patrol, and hoped that she and Silverbloom wouldn't be in trouble. More than that, she hoped Silverbloom would be okay. Moonfeather waited for the cats to come up to her as she watched Silverbloom bolt away. |

πͺΆ Kestrelheart Kestrelheart's eyes instantly narrowed as soon as she heard the tone of Silverbloom's yowl. The waterfall was loud, but her emotions and intentions were louder, and the brown tabby was not having it. Then, she saw the glare that she pointed over her shoulder, at Ravenpaw. What was that for? The tom looked equally confused, but he quickly adopted an expression of displeasure. "No. We have nothing to say." Kestrelheart spoke for both her and the medicine cat, a hiss lingering at the base of her throat, but she kept it suppressed. She understood Pigeonfeather's desperation right now, and she could do nothing to compromise what was happening. She knew that much. Then, as Silverbloom suddenly bolted, Kestrelheart followed right behind Pigeonfeather, her chest clenching with suppressed anger. She kept it down for now, though, waiting for his next command. - - - π€ Ravenpaw Ravenpaw's eyes widened as he saw the completely unbridled threat in Silverbloom's glare. What did he do to deserve that? Everyone had seen where they came out from, and he had done nothing to elicit such a threat. His heart sank. He now understood that she would not hesitate to harm him, would she? He simply listened to Moonfeather yell a reply to them, but he instantly knew she wasn't telling the complete truth. His heart told him something was awfully off. Then, the next few events went by so quickly, but he simply nodded to Pigeonfeather, even though he wanted absolutely nothing to do with this mission after the glare. His eyes narrowing, he turned to run up the rocks to the waterfall. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather nodded a quick thanks to Ravenpaw before turning to Kestrelheart and mewing hurriedly, "Alright, let's catch up, shall we?" |
