🪶 Kestrelheart "Definitely," Kestrelheart let out a long sigh, a frown on her face as she watched the tall black tom cautiously disappear behind the waterfall before turning her attention back to Pigeonfeather. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather took a deep breath, giving Kestrelheart an appreciative glance for being so ready to adapt, and then yowled, "Alright, try to keep up!" in a light-hearted way, trying to restore the usual joking vibe. He hared off after the two she-cats, all of his muscles rippling beneath his pelt as he did his absolute best to make up for the time they had lost while talking. He could hear Kestrelheart's paws pounding behind him (I assume - feel free to correct me if she doesn't follow) and was reassured to know that he had another, trustworthy cat by his side. "I think we're not too far off!" he said over his shoulder, the scent filling his nose. "We should be able to find them!" |

🪶 Kestrelheart Kestrelheart managed to give Pigeonfeather a fleeting smile at his glance, and then she even mustered a chuckle at his attempt to lighten the situation as much as she could. She appreciated it, more than she was showing right now. As he started running, she did, too, staying right behind him. While they ran, she tried establishing factors in her mind. Silverbloom was a big she-cat, meaning she likely excelled in strength more than speed or stamina. She didn't expect her to run for too long. But what would she do — to them? — when they got to her? It was likely she'd even feel cornered. Kestrelheart wasn't sure if she'd be able to stay collected for Pigeonfeather in case that took place. Yet, she nodded quickly to the tom's comment, keeping her eyes trained forward. (and i'm just going to wait for Copper's reply for Ravenpaw :D) |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather focused on the feeling of himself rushing through the woods as he poured all of his energy into trying to catch the runaway cats. Though this wasn't his home terrain, having come from a different Clan and only bonding with these cats due to a complete lack of other options, he was learning to appreciate the forest. Hopefully, StarClan would lend him enough strength to catch up to- Suddenly, he skidded to a halt next to Kestrelheart, spotting Moonfeather stopped in a clearing before them, clearly waiting for them. "Moonfeather-" he mewed. "Where is Silverbloom?" He looked at Kestrelheart to see if she had anything to add. |

Moonfeather Moonfeather sighed. "She ran off, she didn't like how you guys were treating her. I was going to go after her, to ask her to come back, but you guys probably thought we were running from you. I wanted to explain before I went after her." she explained, then added, "I'm really sorry for all the trouble I've caused." |

🪶 Kestrelheart Kestrelheart nearly ran into Pigeonfeather as he suddenly stopped, scrambling to a stop herself. She had been inspecting his expression, noticing how it looks nearly conflicted as his thoughts jumped around. "She's hardly given us a chance to treat her right," she finally spoke after staying silent, her chest heaving with each breath as she tried to steady it. All she could remember at the moment was how Silverbloom's harsh shell would come out at the slightest of issues, and all that gave her to see was an aggressive she-cat who refused help. She didn't want to be seen as weak, she knew that much, but they were never given the chance to show her they didn't see her as such. Glancing to Pigeonfeather, her frown returned. "It's okay, Moonfeather. I just wish you would have talked it through with Stagcall until we got back," her voice softened to the grey tabby, looking back at the direction of the waterfall before her eyes returned. "That loner has caused… all of the issues, not you." |

Silverbloom What the others didn't know was that this was for the best, for her, and for them. If she even got a tiny bit mad, her outer shell would come out, as if it was controlling her. Silverbloom knew this. She did this for their sake. Rainstrike, she never wanted to hurt him. The silver tabby slowed down, and finally stopped. She felt terrible. Was this the best? Yes Silverbloom told herself firmly. |

Copper "O-oh. Hi! Please don't hurt me..." She stuttered once she realised that a black tom had walked in. The starry reflections still scared her, but she tried not to show it. What would the tall cat in front of her do? Will they hurt her? Or are they here to help? "I'll help heal your group if you don't!" She squeaked quickly, almost begging the tom. She couldn't fight this cat. The crystals around the spotted she-cat glistened, as if they were... watching? |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather lashed his tail once, a very small indication of the frustration bubbling inside of him. "We didn't get the chance to treat her like anything. We asked to talk, we were friendly, we were polite, and we were trying to get this whole mess resolved. Stagcall wants to talk with all of you - not fight, talk, so we can come to a solution that will benefit everyone. Have the two of you even considered how weak we are right now? As I speak, someone could be attacking the camp. God forbid, those dogs could come back, and slaughter Stagcall, Rainstrike, and Emberpaws, just because you had to run away and we had to come bring you back and talk with you." He realized too late that he was snarling, with his pelt sticking up and his lips peeled back, and he quickly calmed himself down, taking some deep breaths. "I'm sorry," he apologized after a moment, "I shouldn't have snapped at you. I just want us all to be Clanmates again. Just like it is supposed to be. We have a duty to each other, and I'm even on your side! I like Copper, I think she could be a valuable asset and I think she should join us. But I would never abandon those I have sworn to protect and uphold over her. Truth is, we need the two of you back. Moonfeather, you're so clever and such a good hunter, the Clan would not thrive as much without. And Silverbloom, wherever she is, brings a real passion to the group. Gets us moving! And she may think she's less because of her scars, but none of the others agree." Pigeonfeather sighed heavily. "Just...we just need you all back home. Safe. And all this fighting and running is so...tiring." He felt his tail droop and his fur flatten as all of the anger drained out of him. He just wanted everyone safe. He didn't want to argue and snarl and snap, he just wanted to help everyone, all at once. He swallowed heavily. "Please, Moonfeather? Help us convince Silverbloom that she needs to return. You're both so important, and I'm certain we can find a place for Copper. I'll talk to Stagcall myself." He turned to Kestrelheart, glad to see a friendly face in all of this. |

Stagcall As dusk fell, still no sign of the patrol nor the missing cat's sign of return. Stagcall felt his chest tightening with worry. Uneasiness slowly crept on him. Those three cats, don't they find it advantageous to discuss and come to an understanding rather than just leaving the group hanging? Surely, they wouldn't refuse? If the actual clan leader was leading this group, that loner could've already been turned into crow food in the blink of an eye and the two she-cats siding with it wouldn't go unnoticed either. Then again, if silverbloom, moonfeather and perhaps that loner though not necessarily, are not to return, then they have given the whole group an obvious answer. Stagcall speculated on their motives and the possibility of betrayal, unsure of their loyalty to the group in favor with a loner that can even hunt for itself without needing care of a queen and furthermore, a cat they personally don't even know? Despite the illogical nature of the situation, he acknowledged that such a scenario could unfold. |
