Moonfeather Startled by Stagcall's question, she froze. Her heart beat fast, she wasn't expecting him to call on her. But she still answered. "I don't think we should send her away. We should at least try and speak with her, as impossible as that sounds. If that doesn't work, then we can send her away from the territory." Moonfeather meowed. |

Stagcall He thought that the she-cat may not react favorably if Silverbloom is banished, so he intended to keep an eye on her in case she decides to join her friend in exile. Stagcall then, made a swift leap down from the big rocks. "I suppose, I'll go see her myself." The tom informed them before clearing his throat to ask. "Now, where have you last seen silverbloom?" He turned his head to look between the two cats in front of him, rainstrike and ravenpaw. |

Copper Hopping in the trees looking for the huge she-cat, the spotted apprentice wondered if this was the right thing to do. What if she was attacked? What if she was killed? No. She couldn't think like that. Have faith in her. You trust her. Right? Copper's own question stopped her in her tracks. Do I? Silverbloom's kind, but did I really ever trust her? I... didn't... This was defiantly not the right thing to do. |

Rainstrike It'd been a massive relief to hear that the majority of the group shared the same opinions and beliefs he held. Not that he doubted his clanmates' capability of common sense or loyalty - but things were hard on everyone right now and he hadn't been completely sure what the other cats were thinking. At least they could all agree that having Silverbloom around was far too dangerous. The gray tom focused his attention on their leader, admiring Stagcall now more than ever for making what Rainstrike believed to be the best decision. A good leader was one that listened to the voices of the clan and took action - he was glad this cat would be leading them all and serving as the foundation for the cats of their group to find security and stability in their lives again. Rainstrike took a few paw steps forward, "We encountered her at the waterfall. Stagcall, I hope you plan on bringing some of us with you. Silverbloom is unpredictable, it isn't safe to face her alone." |

Stagcall "Of course," he nodded in agreement with rainstrike before he turned to the gathered cats. His gaze softened upon seeing them, stagcall promised to himself that he will do whatever it takes to provide them safety even if it means banishing a cat that was once part of them. Stagcall shook his head, returning to a more serious expression. "I require two willing warriors to accompany me to silverbloom. The rest of you will remain here to protect the camp." he declared, his scarred tail flicking gently as he awaited volunteers. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather turned to Kestrelheart after hearing Stagcall's announcement, his ears swiveling to face her. "What do you think? Should we go with him?" he asked. "I mean, hopefully we'll just drive Silverbloom out and not outright kill her - that would make us no better than the rogues themselves - but it would be good to see what's going on." Pigeonfeather flicked his tail thoughtfully. "I don't like knowing a job is being done without being there to see it being done myself. And I'd of course like to take you with me, if you're willing to go. But we have to hurry before some other cats step into the gap!" |

🪶 Kestrelheart Kestrelheart slowly turned her head to look at Moonfeather, separate from and directly avoiding the others. Her frown was maintained as she heard her expected answer. She was against sending away what she believed to be her friend. Looking back up at Stagcall, she could see that the scarred tom was not surprised, either. She then wondered what he thought. Did he think she would join the delusional she-cat and loner? Because she was curious herself, gently wrapping her tail around her forepaws. As Rainstrike told him where Silverbloom was last seen, her whiskers twitched gently. So, the large she-cat had never left the territory after all, or at least, she hadn't strayed far. Her eyes landed on Ravenpaw once again as he looked down at his paws, and suddenly, his eyes widened and he stared between Rainstrike and Stagcall. "She stunk of badger," he blurted, pinning his ears back. "I didn't realize before... but I don't know how I could've missed it. She must have ran into one, and obviously either fended it off or escaped. Please, as Rainstrike said, bring somecats with you." Kestrelheart narrowed her eyes, listening to Stagcall's reply idly. A badger... glad to know there were some nearby, but what had she been doing, being near one? How... gone had she become? She was snapped out of her thoughts as she noticed Pigeonfeather looking at her, quickly softening her gaze as to not seem like her previous expression was angled at him. "I don't see us having to even harm her unless she is as crazy as they say. Hopefully, she's sane enough to hear our words without immediately resorting to violence. But... I do think it would be best if we both went. I'm sure Rainstrike is tired enough, and Moonfeather doesn't look like she'd want to confront Silverbloom in a negative manner. She might even side with her in front of Stagcall and whichever one of us goes, and that could end... badly." The brown she-cat didn't voice her other reasoning for agreeing to go along with him, but she grinned at his lighthearted comments. It was settled then. She stood up and looked at Stagcall, her tail lashing once. "Pigeonfeather and I will accompany you," she declared, giving him a confident nod with her words. |

Stagcall Nevertheless, this revelation made Stagcall even more cautious after learning that a badger was lurking near the camp's boundaries, but before he could open his mouth to speak regarding the matter, he was interrupted by kestrelheart. Catching his attention, he turned towards her.
Kestrelheart, and pigeonfeather? Well, he doesn't mind. Though upon closer look at the two, they seem to have become quite close recently. Perhaps his decision to send them off to a patrol together not too long ago was a good decision afterall? "Very well, rainstrike will be overseeing the camp while we make our way to silverbloom." Stagcall replied with a nod as he glanced at the mentioned tom. "We must make haste." He added and with a quick flick of his dark tail, it signaled kestrelheart and pigeonfeather to follow the brown tom as he immediately padded off towards the entrance. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather felt his mouth briefly drop open in shock at hearing Ravenpaw's words. An insane, starving cat? Taking on a badger? That was something out of nursery stories, for kits barely old enough to eat fresh-kill. There was no way Silverbloom took down a badger on her own. And why hadn't they scented the badger on patrols? But this was Ravenpaw they were talking about. There was no way he would lie on this kind of thing. Pigeonfeather shook his head. So many unanswered questions from Silverbloom...and little hope that they would ever find answers. Pigeonfeather felt a purr rumble in his throat at Kestrelheart's agreement to accompany him into the territory. He knew her better than any other cat there, and he couldn't quite trust Rainstrike or Moonfeather with his life. Rainstrike seemed to be a very strong cat - perhaps in line for deputy, once they got that far (he quickly shoved down a very confusing pang of envy) - but he seemed a little too strong. Give that cat enough power, and Pigeonfeather wouldn't be surprised if he would turn into a tyrant. The tom had set ideas of how things should be done and how they were going to be done, and Pigeonfeather would not like to be the only one standing in his way. And Moonfeather, well, he knew where her sympathies lay. If it was two camp loyalists against Moonfeather and a deranged Silverbloom, that could be a crazy battle, and he'd have no idea who turned out on top. And Emberpaws was around too, but Pigeonfeather had next to zero information on the younger cat. He wished he had devoted himself to figuring out more about his Clanmates sooner... To summarize his own thoughts, Pigeonfeather glanced warmly at Kestrelheart. He was glad to have her by his side, to fight battles, and to hang out with - and Stagcall, of course. The piercing gaze the stocky brown tom sent at the two of them make his pelt tingle uncomfortably and his whiskers twitch with embarrassment. What did the tom see with that searching stare? But just as quickly, Stagcall broke away and summoned the two of them to accompany him. Pigeonfeather got to his paws and followed Stagcall, looking to make sure Kestrelheart was coming along as well. |

🪶 Kestrelheart Kestrelheart squinted her eyes very slightly at Stagcall as she tried to discern what he was thinking when he paused to look at the two mentioned. However, when she turned her head to look at Pigeonfeather, and her ears lowered slightly at his warm glance. She offered him a soft smile, but her attention was soon torn away as Stagcall spoke. Watching him begin to walk to the camp entrance, she quickly turned to follow him. She did pause briefly, though, to look back at Ravenpaw. If they did bring Silverbloom back to camp somehow, would the medicine cat 'apprentice' ever be able to see her in a normal light again? Shaking her head, she looked back at Pigeonfeather, who was looking at her. She briefly lifted her tail and closed the distance between them, now walking by his side to follow Stagcall. He was right: they had to be quick, especially if they wanted to return just as quickly. |
