price check for my art

hey all! I need to know how high the prices should be on this topic and any suggestions on how to market the art would be helpful too. If your post is helpful, you get one free randomized wolf. Thanks!

For the artwork you are currently selling, I think the prices are pretty good. If your looking to bring in more customers I'd probably reccomend lowering the price of the custom headshot (maybe 700-800 SC)

As for the "flying puppy" and the "hairless" I would reccomend bringing them down a bit, at least the flying pupping. Since it is a retrace of a wolvden pup with wings added, and not fully "custom" it will probably not sell for the price your asking. As for the hairless, I would also bring that down a bit. The quality of the art does not correlate well with the price.

Please take none of this in offense, this is just my personal opinion after observing the wolvden art market :)

hi! ive been doin wolvden comms and adopts for a lil while now and i think ur starting prices are good!

the thing i did, at least with my adopts, is start low and then as u gain more confidence and skill u increase the price to fit that!

for the GC art, i agree with moego but that doesn't mean u cant improve on the concepts! ^_^ for the sc:gc ratio i usually do 300:1 for my adopts but some ppl do it higher if that also helps :]

edit: i also love the idea of ur randomized wolves!! that's a very cool and unique concept i haven't seen yet

ah thank you

I thought randomized wolves was a good idea because I just draw the markings beforehand, give them numbers, and use a random number generator to decide which markings at which occupancy and which base/eye/nose and which decor goes on the wolf. With this, EVERYONE gets a custom image, with little work from me except the drawing of the markings, bases, etc. The markings, bases, decor, eye color, and nose colors are based on actual Wolvden markings, bases, decor, eye colors, and nose colors.

I'll send a randomized wolf your way as well.
