"He better not be a shadow right now!" She muttered, now very annoyed at the medicine cat's absence. She clawed at the rock underneath her as she listened for LittleShadow. He wasn't making a single sound! "And he better not have joined StarClan!" the green eyed leader added. Opening her eyes and looking towards CrimsonPaw, she wondered what she was thinking. The medicine cat's eyes were blank, no expression at all. "Do you know where your mentor padded of to?" She asked the tabby aprentice.

Tinyshadow
Nosing curiously at a small plant at the edge of the area Mangrovestar had stopped them in, Tinyshadow wondered if it could be used for something. This area was so different then their last home, and some of the herbs were new to the medicine cat. The sudden sound of raised voices drew the small cat from his thoughts, and with a sigh he turned away from the plant and towards his clanmates. What were they bickering about now? Slipping from the shadow he'd been hidden in to keep his peace of mind, Tinyshadow approached the others with his typical limping gait. "And here I am," He mused good naturedly in response to his apprentice. Flicking her shoulder with his tail to let her know exactly where he was, he sat down and dipped his head towards Mangrovestar.

"I bet she knows!" he huffed and curled his tail around his paws neatly "Do you even know your mentor is holding up a meeting and wasting other's time by sitting here!" he glared at mangrove'star "I mean we might as well start for crying out loud!" 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

"No I don't know were my mentor is, and, RowanDawn, stop being so mad, calm down!" She admitted. CrimsonPaw was diving into the warrior next to hers mind, and knew how he was feeling. But her thoughts had straied to LittleShadow. Where was he? Was he ok? Did he join StarClan? The small apprentice started to panic. Was his mentor injured? Her fear lead her to fluff up her tail, but nothing else.

The leader sighed with relief. "Good, were all here. This..." She swept her gaze over the clearing, "...Is our new home. We will be staying here for good, and we will be needing a deputy, but perhaps not now." She explained. Her own joy and pride almost swept MangroveStar of her paws! This was amazing! "We are now MangroveClan!" She raised her voice to announce their new Clan. This was amazing!

he puffed out his chest proud to be part of this new clan I wonder who she might have in mind for a deputy...I might have to be much kinder then I already am though he sat up and stretched and licked his paw and drew it over his ear  "rowan'star does not sound half bad for a leader's name" he mumbled under his breath forget it he growled his sense of reality always ruined his day drams 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

Sighing dramatically, Tinyshadow gently nosed Crimsonpaw's ear with his nose to let her know he was indeed there, before turning a dispassionate look towards Rowandawn. "Please do no badger my apprentice. I understand you are frustrated, but taking it out on others will not make anything move faster." He meowed, keeping his voice even but eyes hard. He'd allow Rowandawn to mock him, but he was not about to let anyone bully his apprentice. "Now hush and listen to Mangrovestar." He added, voice taking on an amused tone.

After listening to the leaders words, Tinyshadow hummed appreciatively and nodded. Mangroveclan, it fit well for their tiny clan. The area was rich with prey, sheltered in the important areas, and had extensive herbs from what he'd encountered. It was a good place to call home. Though, he couldn't help but also wonder about the dangers that lurked in the shadows of the mangroves. Surely this wasn't to good to be true?

"RowanDawn, come hunting with me, and LittleShadow, go herb gathering, we need a fresh-kill pile and herb stores, then we can make dens." She ordered. Jumping down, MangroveStar padded to the entrance and waited for her hunting buddy. Was she a good leader? She didn't know. The brown leader had heard what RowanDawn said, but ignored it. Let them dream. She told herself. "MangroveClan" She meowed to herself. This would be the start of their story!

"Any new herbs?" She asked her mentor after the meeting, slightly started by his sudden appearance. What would they discover? What dangers lurked in every corner? LittleShadow was thinking the same thing. "Don't worry! If there is any danger, we'll be fine!" She told him. CrimsonPaw often found herself forgetting her mentor could blend in with the shadows, and she didn't know if the others remembered her thought sight ability.
