I started to play Wolvden when it first came out and quit playing this for about 2 years. Since I'm a huge fan of breeding Only Breedable and Rare markings/bases, I'm totally lost now. There are so many marking tiers and all the Guides are either from 2020 and is not since then updated. I'd love to get some tier explanations and what's currently the most desired markings/bases. Thank you for taking the time to reply |

Bases can be tier I, II, III, or *. You can tell based on the "Base Genetics" part of the wolf's bio, which will read something like "Monochrome Medium I." The higher the tier, the rarer the base. There are a lot of other breeding guidelines, too. For example, when you're breeding wolves, one of the parents must be a TIII or T* in order for the offspring to have a chance at being TIII. Grouse House's genetics guide has an excellent section about this if you're interested! The most desired bases are TIIIs because they can only be bred or found as chased wolves, while T*s can be applied from event applicators. Markings can be tier 0, 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, or 8 (weird, I know ). You can get any tier from Random Marking Applicators (RMAs) or by breeding to wolves with the markings, but here are some general descriptions.
Generally, T2, 6, and 8 are the most coveted because they take a lot of breeding or a lot of RMAs to get. This is why hugely popular studs like Stahlhast and FrostWalker have a majority T2/6/8 markings. It also means that these studs are super expensive to make! T3 markings are also very valuable to colorbomb breeders. |

Since there was so many marking tiers, I got lost but now it's all clear. I learned that I even have plenty of wolves with BO/raffle/combo markings. I just wish they would finish their wiki site as wolvden fandom site and grouse house are not up to date with markings, eyes etc. |
