The stranger had said he wouldn't hurt her, but she wasn't sure if he really meant it. However, she was also curious. After a moment of thinking, she decided to approach the stranger, but to be careful. She walked further into the direction where the stranger was until she could see him, but didn't reveal herself just yet. "Are you from a pack?" She asked.

His voice was clear and soft, inviting  and friendly. "I promise you are safe, I mean you no harm" he wagged his tail, pawing the ground nervously

Even though she was still wary, she was inclined to believe he didn't mean her any harm. "No, I don't have a pack." She answered. She never was part of a pack, even though she would like to be at times. However she doubted that any pack would want a limping wolf. "I'm Muriel. What's your name?" She asked after a quiet moment.

Posted 2024-05-19 13:41:44 (edited) #1205515 Muriel She smiled sheepishly. She didn't get compliments often and wasn't sure what to say. Instead she answered the question if she was okay. "It's alright. It's just an old injury that didn't heal quite right." She had broken her leg when she was a puppy. Somehow it didn't heal right, leaving her with a permanent limp. The thought of going near river made her a bit uneasy. "Better not, I don't like swimming." Even though she was a bit uneasy, her wariness was almost gone.

Posted 2024-05-20 11:03:39 #1205774 Spritus This was great! If this wolf was in the mountains, it was destiny for them to join the Moon Comets! Why else would they be there? Either way, once Halo gained a trainee, Spiritus would guide her to the Moon Tree. A place were the lunar territory and the spruce forest were one. Perhaps this new wolf was said trainee? Padding into the black wolf's vison, she sat down. If they could see the Lunar Guide, they would truly be fit for the role.

The arrival of a second wolf snapped her out of her thoughts,. "Hello." She greeted the white wolf with blue spots. "Are you part of the pack too?" She asked the other wolf curiously.
