In a sudden frenzied coughing, the black fox gasped in air as they stood up. They were ok! Their breathing was weak, but they were ok! "I-I'm okay" Came Halo's quiet reply. The black fox could barely stand up, but they could walk back to camp. Right?

Halo


Walking back into camp, Halo departed from the others and went into their den. Their pumpkin eyes were bleak and their black pelt was drenched, but the only part of them that was injured, was the Healer's spirit. They would be fine. But Halo agreed to never go near water again! Fish would be the only part of the lake she would willingly let be nearby.

A few hours later, Kyro peeked his head into Halo's Den, worry on his face. "Hey, I just  wanted to make sure your ok" he seemed shy, almost… embarrassed 		Frank

"I'm fine!" They snapped. How could Halo not have learned from the past? "I-I'm sorry, I just..." The black Healer trailed off, not wanting to bore their Alfa with the past. Their pumpkin eyes shined with sorrow. They were laying in their nest so that they could recover, but stood up and lay her head on Kyro's shoulders.
