Margo raised her eyebrow at the stranger. What an odd thing to say, but she didn't feel at all intimidated by his words. In fact, they were kinda funny. At least her prey had a sense of humour.

"Yeah, yeah" She rolled her shoulders and thought about where the best place to start scaling the tree would be. Maybe she could climb up there and finish the job- or she could wait it out.

No- her brain told her. She needed to eat now.

With a deep breath, a reminder of why she was even doing this, that delicious, fresh blood, she jumped up onto the tree and tried to get a foothold on the bark.

"wow i love the enthusiasm" he sarcastically and clung onto the tree more he shut his eyes this is the end! he opened them again to see that his hands where gone. he shrieked and landed to the ground with a thud no not now! he crawled into a bushes and panicked looking at the furry side of him 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

It was a hard climb- the tree was sturdy and she knew she wouldn't fall, but her hands scraped against the rough bark and she knew that they'd hurt bad after this. Hopefully, it'd be worth it, though.

She ignored his sarcastic words as she climbed, not wanting to deal with that since he'd be dead soon anyways. She was far too hungry to stop now, the thought of a good meal driving her to climb higher.

And then he shrieked, and she almost let go in surprise as she watched his body fall from the top of the tree. Annoyance bit at her as she tried to drop down to finish him off in a way that wouldn't mess up her legs. Why did her prey have to be so...alive. She could hear his heart pumping blood around his body in his panic, as he pushed himself away. Not far enough. It never would be.

She dove into the bushes, sick of his games at this point, and grabbed onto his shoulders, claws digging into flesh, and stopped in surprise when she saw....fur???

"don't eat me!" he struggled in margo's grip "let me go!" he wailed he felt her claws dig in to his shoulder and held back a scream I am so dead he thought and shut his eyes closed waiting for the end 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

"Why shouldn't I eat you?" she growled, tightening her grip and watching the blood bead up from the cut.

She knew that whatever excuse he could cough up right now would go over her head. She wouldn't let him go that easily.

"because-never mind" he looked hurt when he opened his mouth why live anyway its not like he can go back to his normal life now or see his family he pinned back his ears and held back tears he was not sure if he was crying or not but he did not care 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

Margo watched as the supposed human started to shift into something a lot more...feral. She froze, unsure of what to do. Drinking human blood was one thing, but she wasn't sure how sustainable the blood of someone like her would be. But she was so hungry, why did it matter? It wasn't like he was fighting back anymore.

She took her hand off his shoulder to stare at the blood drying on her fingers. Tentatively, she stuck out her tongue for a taste and reeled back at the nasty, almost disgustingly tangy taste. It tasted like it had gone off, like it was starting to mould. She hissed in annoyance. What a waste of time this had been. But...why hadn't she sensed that the strange hadn't been human???

Standing up, she glared down at the beast, keeping a watchful eye on him incase he tried anything. She was constantly weary, especially now that she knew other supernaturals were possibly living in these woods, or the town nearby.

"Why are you here?" she asked, worried that he'd come here for a reason. Come here for her, perhaps. She'd spent so long trying to hide in these woods that the thought of someone knowing where she lived filled her with great anxiety.
