Sitting on the window sill, trying to reposition herself to make it easier for her to climb, Margo was feeling a deep sense of satisfaction about this little mission being a success.

Until she froze, her grip almost slipping from the laptop. She could hear someone still in the house- footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Someone's here!!" she hissed down at Oliver, scrambling to get her other leg over the sill.

his fur bristled as she called up from the window "you need to get down or hide!" he called out in a panic oh no please no he glanced around wildly and grabbed a rock off the ground and circled around the house oliver threw the large rock at the window and covered his head as shattered glass flew around he shook of te small shards of glass and raced back over to his bedroom window hopeful that works! She opened her mouth to respond but before she could, Oliver had run off. She grit her teeth, trying to quell the anxiety tightening her chest as the footsteps got louder.

Climbing down would take too long, but dropping down from this height would probably fuck up her legs... oh well, it didn't matter-

The loud smashing sound coming from the front of the house made her lose her grip and she scrambled to hold onto the sill before she fell and broke something. She hung off the side of the house as the footsteps stopped, and then after a few excruciating moments, disappeared back down the stairs.

"Fuck!!!!" she hissed, trying to catch her breath, trying to stop shaking. "Shit that was close".

he panted and raced over back towards his bedroom window side of the house "are you?!" he panicked and raced over to her oh please let her be ok! he looked her over with worry "did you break anything or hurt yourself?!" 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

When her feet finally hit the ground she fell to her knees, exhausted but in one piece. She set the laptop down and sighed tiredly.

"I'm okay, I'm okay" she waved him off, "I got your computer" she nodded towards the laptop and charger on the ground, blinking away the exhaustion building in her brain.

Margo leaned against the wall, slumped against it sleepily as she watched Oliver work. She leaned forward to look at the screen when he moved the screen towards her.

"Oh nice" she sat up to get a closer look, "are other people asking questions about the white vans? Has this been a thing that's been happening all around town??"

"Maybe we could get the cops involved?" Margo wondered, though there was no way she'd be the one to get them involved considering she'd been living off the grid for so long.
