Margo saw the change, but only for a split second. The blood was rushing to her ears, heart pounding, adrenaline coursing through her veins. She knew something was wrong, she knew this creature was bad news.

It was hard to do anything when she couldn't shift into a giant creature, but she couldn't just stand there and let Oliver bleed out. She tried to get closer but the mountain lion swatted at her with her claws out, nicking her leg. The amount of blood in the air was starting to drive her crazy- she hadn't eaten for a few days and she was starting to feel the effects of it, not as strong as she could be to fight off the mountain lion.

oliver leaped onto the lion's back and pinned it down Charlie hit her head roughly on a rock under her head causing her to faint she shifted back into her human form and went still from being unconscious Oliver panted and his whole body and fell to the ground his fur matted in blood and his eyes glazed in pain 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

The fight seemed to be over almost as fast as it had started. Margo swore under her breath, trying to reel herself in- she could find something to eat when they weren't in immediate danger. For now, she needed to make sure Oliver was okay.

She rushed over, dropping to her knees to check Oliver over and not liking the amount of blood she was seeing.

"Oliver" she called out, hoping he could hear her, "can you hear me? I-I'm gonna help you, okay?"

She didn't know what to do, so she took off her jacket and started tearing the fabric to make makeshift bandages for the wounds. If she could stop the bleeding then she could figure out the rest from there, right????

In her panic over her friend, she didn't notice the human where the mountain lion once was.

Oliver shivered "h-hurts" he shivered again "y-yeah I can hear you just fine.."  who is that? the thought vanished as another wave of pain raced along his body 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

Margo tightened the makeshift bandages and made a sympathetic noise as Oliver's body curled into itself in pain.

"It's gonna be okay" she muttered, mostly in an attempt to convince herself. Her hands were covered in blood, soaking through the bandages. "You're gonna be okay".

Oliver whimpered inhaled and exhaled deeply he dug his claws into the ground as another wave of pain come over him he quickly glared the at the new comer and let out a low growl 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

Margo nodded. Oliver was right, they needed to find somewhere safe to rest that wasn't so out in the open. She had no idea if anyone else had been following them, paranoia still prickling in her stiff limbs.

"Okay," she said as she stood up and looked around. "Let's start walking this way" she pointed to where the trees grew thicker, hoping giving enough shelter from the elements once it turned night. "Do you need help getting up?"

As she hesitated beside Oliver, she glanced over at the figure still lying near them. She sighed, hands clenching in annoyance, as she knew she'd have to take them with her. She briefly wondered if she could drag them across the floor, but knew that leaving any obvious tracks would get them found faster. She'd have to hike them over her shoulder or something.
