Margo jolted back to reality when she heard the door creak open, her head snapping to watch Oliver start running.

What the fuck??? she thought desperately, glancing at the one-way window and knowing that someone was behind there, watching them. Could she run too without getting caught? It was dangerous, but she couldn't just sit here and do nothing, not when Oliver was already making a run for it.

She stood up on shaky legs and started pumping her legs, knocking her shoulder against the door clumsily as she fell out of the room and forced her body to start working again as she ran back down the hallway they'd come from. She could see Oliver in the distance, she could hear his echoing footsteps and followed behind, trying not to limp too hard and slow herself down.

This was a deathwish, but she had no choice but to follow.

Adam slammed his fist down on the desk in front of him he grabbed the radio from his pocket and gripped it tightly "They escaped bring them back....alive" he turned it off and slammed the radio on the desk causing it to crack "SHIT" he rushed out of the room and scanned  the hallway "fucking bullshit!"

olivers heart beated quickly as he rushed down the hallway he jumped as he heard someone following him he turned quickly and let out a relived sigh 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

"How did you do that?" Margo asked, gasping for breath as she finally caught up, "did you open the door?"

Her heart was beating so fast it felt like her ribcage was going to crack but she forced her legs to keep moving. They needed to get out of this building, and only then would she feel any sense of safety.

She knew they didn't have much time until people came looking for them, but her unfamiliarity with the building made it so that finding their way out was more than difficult. It was almost impossible, but they had to try.

"D-do you remember the way out?" she asked Oliver, doubtful that he'd say anything positive, but hoping nonetheless.

he tilted his head "No...I didn't" Then who did is this just a trap?! he looked around his surroundings and shivered "I" his breath was caught in his throat  "I don't remember exactly but we will find a way we just need to find a way out quickly" he looked at margo and shook his head "lets go" 		Raven-skys🌈 🏳️‍🌈

That's...strange. Maybe someone regretted what they'd done and opened the door for them? There wasn't much time to dwell on it because they desperately needed to find a way out.

It seemed as if the alarm had been called, possibly Adam locking down the building so they couldn't escape. As she ran, she swore she could hear voices nearby, heavy footsteps from boots that weren't theirs. Panic rose in her throat. She wasn't sure they were going to make it, but she'd die trying.

"I see sunlight!" she gasped out, light trickling out of one of the door on the far end of the hallway. If they could just reach it, perhaps they could be free?

One of the doors behind them slammed open. Someone was coming for them! Margo grabbed Oliver's sleeve and pulled him faster down the hallway to the door. Her legs burned with each step, sending jolts of pain up her back, but she kept moving forward.

She shouldered her way out the door, surprised to find it unlocked, and all but fell onto the concrete outside, gasping for breath. She swore to herself, she could still hear people behind them, she needed to get up.

"Let's go" she hissed at Oliver, nodding her head towards the closest fence that looked somewhat easy to climb over.
