In your haste you almost missed a rabbit who certainly had missed you. Rae got one jackrabbit carcass. 💫KasperKat💫 his behind a bush with the pup until the humans had settled. They couldn't seem to find you! How stupid... 💫KasperKat💫 got one burning bush. LunaTheMoonWolf bravely fought the humans. They put up a good fight at first and stood their ground before running away, leaving their camp unattended. You look around and immediately find a large bovine carcass that they were preparing to eat! LunaTheMoonWolf got one bovine carcass. Next narrator is 💫KasperKat💫

Posted 2024-07-19 10:06:12 #1233157 As you continue onwards, you notice that the pup's steps are beginning to flag and his eyes are beginning to droop. In addition, the first few crickets are chirping and the light is dimming. Although the night poses no real danger for an adult wolf, you quickly realize that you're going to have to find a place to hunker down with this pup to make sure he survives the night. However, you've got three different choices... Choice A - Through the dusk, you can make out the distinct shape of a hole in a nearby cluster of rock. Padding over, you sniff around the edges, and deduce that no animal currently calls this their home. It looks a little small, but you could put the pup in there and then lay outside yourself, keeping a watch over the entrance. Choice B - As you stand there deliberating, you catch the scent of a she-wolf on the breeze. Turning to face where she's coming, you snarl and bristle, motioning with your tail for the pup to stay behind you. As she walks into the clearing where you stand however, she is relaxed and calm. Her eyes sparkle in the dying light as she looks at you, and her grayish pelt reflects the sunset softly as she shifts forward to look at you. She asks if you travelers need a place to stay. The stranger explains that she and a small group of wolves stay nearby and love to host wolves passing by. Her offer seems genuine, but she is a stranger. Do you trust her? Choice C - Carry the pup and keep walking. You can keep going, though the pup needs to sleep. He could probably doze dangling from your mouth, and you could travel those precious miles that you'd miss by snoozing tonight away. Make your choice, the light is leaving the forest quickly!

Though you will be sleeping outside on the significantly harder and colder ground, it warms your heart to see the tired pup curl up in your makeshift nest and quickly doze off. As you lay your head down on your paws, you quickly drift off as well, though a part of your brain remains alert for danger. When the morning dawns, you raise your head and a strange scent tickles your nose. You realize you were sleeping within mere feet of a helpful plant, though you were too tired to notice last night! You quickly gather it, and as the now-rejuvenated puppy comes bouncing out of the den, the two of you head onwards. 🦊Skulk🦊 receives: 1x Aniseed Choice B - As you tilt your head towards the she-wolf, a faint smile plays about your muzzle. You're a big strong wolf, you could fight your way out of anything. And the pup seems to trust this stranger, reviving a little and play bowing in front of her, then rolling over to expose his belly. She just glances down at the little scrap, amused by his antics. As you accept her offer, her eyes sparkle with delight, and she leads you through the dark forest to a small camp not too far away. Wolves move through the darkness and initially you're nervous, but quickly you realize the shadows make it look as if there are more wolves than there really are. A few give you curious glances, but most seem immured to strangers coming and going. The she-wolf shows the pup a place where he can lay with other pups, cared for by a mother who quickly treats the pup as if he were one of her own litter, and contentedly, you leave the little guy. The she-wolf invites you to share a nest with her and a few other wolves with a coy glance over her shoulder and a flick of her tail, and you follow her through the camp. The next day, you both leave, contented with your stay, and the female watches you go with a mischievous smile and a hope that you stop by soon again! Within the day, you and the pup make it safely back to your pack! mALEc 🌸🐰 🌸 receives: 1x Rookpup Choice C - You decide to keep going, but you stop so that you can grab the little puppy by the scruff of his neck. The little pup dozes faintly in your jaws, and tiredness makes your paws slow, but you manage to cover more ground and make it back to your camp. When you get there, you immediately slump into your nest with a laconic explanation of your adventures to your packmates and pass out for a good day or so. When you wake up, you see one of your friends with a gift for you after your hard travels. Rae receives: 5x Healing Salve The next narrator is: 🦊Skulk🦊

You're surprised by how alive, yet how asleep the world seems. Cnitharian pups are bouncing at the edge of your vision, pretending to hunt some kind of trinket. A small lunar insect is buzzing around, pollinating some bright blue flowers. You jump backwards when you see a huge lunar whale sailing throughout the sky. Is it flying, or swimming on air? Where do you go, what do you do? Investigate the Cnitharian pups, the lunar insect, or the lunar whale?
