Following the rat-smell you find a very tight tunnel which leads under the river. The stones under your paws are slimy, the "wall" are slimy, the air is slimy and more and more stinky as you proceed. Whatever was in the chest, it's not here. On the other hand (or paw), you find some still edible chunks of meat. Pawleaf finds MEAT The trail of the country mouse proceeds zigging and zagging, hoppity skippity till the edge of the farmland and dissapears inside a hay stack. Something rustles. It's too big to be a mouse... A moment later a puppy peaks from the hay, with a little mouse perched on his head. LunaTheMoonWolf wins a puppy Snakes don't jump, they don't fly, they don't even run: following the trail is almost too easy. And when they don't hide, it's even easier. The green snake is no more than 20 cm long and has huge slitted eyes. It's basking in the sun on a big warm rock. "Hey there big guy! As you roam through the forest, you suddenly begin to realize that the sky has darkened. Looking up, you see the sky and the sun, but it's as if a film has lowered over the forest. This is definitely not natural, and just as you begin to panic, three shadowy forms step out from between the trees, resolving as they come closer. All three begin to circle you, ensuring you can't escape, but your paws already feel glued to the ground. They all begin whispering to you, promising that they each have exactly what you need. You're going to have to choose one of these in order to escape the situation. Entity 1 - This entity looks very similar to a coyote, if a coyote frequently switched between standing on two legs and running on all fours. Also if a coyote had no mouth and a gaping hole in its throat that it talked through. The strange torn-throat mouth whispers to you that it has the perfect thing to reward you for your long, hard travels. Entity 2 - This creature seems to be solely made of shadows. When you try to look at it, it slips just away from your field of vision, but you can hear its voice inside your skull, so you know its there. You can also see it slipping and sliding in the periphery of your sight, just a writhing creature barely perceptible to you. It promise to you that it can offer you salvation. Entity 3 - This entity is a pure black wolf with large antennae and big, glowing red eyes. A pair of ephemeral wings extend from its back, shedding dust wherever it goes. You get the feeling that if you let that dust touch you, strange things would happen. As you look into this creature's huge, orb-like eyes, you can feel it drawing you in. It doesn't even need to promise you anything, you can feel its appeal. Who do you choose to accompany? |
