Alrighty, I've been in this game for about 3.5 years and I understood some things about the combat that have either changed or weren't accurate to begin with.

I understood that only enemies within 5 levels of your lead's level would give trophies. So, for my level 20 lead, there was no point engaging with enemies of levels 15 or lower. From this understanding, I have been selective about where I spend my lead's energy.

Then just now, I took on a level 8 enemy to fulfill a Melvin Mission, and I got a Wolf Tail trophy after defeating the enemy. So clearly my earlier understanding was wrong.

What's up? Did this change? Can any level of opponent give trophies?

I dont think that was accurate. I've heard only lv 5 enemies and above can drop trophies and chances increase as lv increases (enemy lv).
I've battled with enemies lower than 5 levels compared to my lead and sometimes get trophies. If anything, its harder to get trophies from higher levels...

It did change. Cant remember how long ago now. Enemies level 5 and up can drop trophies regardless of your level. But you can only get stats within 5 levels of your lead so at level 20 if you are after stats you wont get any less than level 15. 		Snowcat13 🌞
