We Are Farmers! [Compiling Plant Info!]
Posted 2024-06-06 09:48:54 (edited)
Hey ya'll! I've never posted this stuff here before, but I'm making a google doc with info as I get it about what plants there are available, what biome I find them in, and what encounters award seeds.

I'm also adding grow times, mutations - anything I can!

If you have info that you'd like to share PLEASE do, I'll keep updating the doc with everything I get!

(Keep in mind that grow times are changeable depending on your level/biome. I'm at level 7 in the Tundra as I'm typing this)

Here's some info I've gathered from myself that I don't think's been added:

Don't have growth times for them yet, but I remember that strawberries take an hour to grow for me. Not sure if this is influenced by biome, but it might be I think, in which case, it's probably 30 mins for their native.
I'll come back with more info!

I wonder if the biome is affecting grow times? I'm in the Tundra myself but Oregon Grapes (native to that biome) still are taking an hour for me. Then the Keyflowers (also a native) are 30 minutes. So... Maybe? But maybe not?

I think I heard from someone they might, but I don't know. We could test it out, I'm in mountains so maybe if we both plant the same seed we can see if the time's different?
(Although, tundra and mountains are both typically colder biomes, so it would be better to test with a warmer one- we can worry about that later)

More info:
-Strawberries have a "white strawberry" mutation

-In my biome, mountains,
yellow rose, pineapple, strawberries both take 1 hour
keyflower, purple saxfridge, flame azalea all take 30 mins
the white mutated strawberries specifically seem to take 1 hour 30 mins

Maybe your biome affects the speed at which your quality goes up for native plants? I haven't paid much attention to that yet tbh to see which ones are going up higher.

Looks like Flame Azaleas and Huckleberry are native to the Mountains!
Flame Azaleas are taking 30 minutes for me, Huckleberry an hour.

I haven't gotten Pineapples or Strawberries yet to test it in the Tundra, but my friend that gave me that info also had them both take an hour. Not sure what his biome is yet, I'll ask!

Does anyone have any idea how the mutations work? How does one get mutated plants? Or is it just random and you cant help it anyway?
