Change (the Recipe of) the Rich Healing Salve [Updated]

Support! If the rich healing salve did something like, +5 HP regeneration every 15 minutes until rollover or something similar, then it might actually be worth the herbs you put into it. As it is, the normal healing salve is so much more efficient! |

I definitely support a tweak of some kind. It's certainly not worth the effort, but really what Stormy said definitely would. Being able to make something that caused HP regen until RO would be a game changer and is certainly my preferred choice. |

@QueenOfFrowns The Rich salves only gives 20HP (twice), nothing else. I will add your idea, @⚡Stormy⚡! I am personally thinking more inline of a solution where Rich salves can still be applied multiple times since that's how salves work too. Giving you immunity would make you only use it once; it is the same for an HP regeneration. |

Completely agree! I've been avoiding even learning the recipe because
the resource drain is so disproportionate to its value. I also like ⚡Stormy⚡'s HP regen idea - for me I think something like that would make the requirement more understandable, although even a simple tweak would be a step in the right direction. |

Support! I haven't even researched the recipe because it didn't seem worth it for that price. |

Have these been switched? Mine is showing the Rich Healing Salve as requiring Chaparral, Aloe, Buffaloberry, Burning Bush, and Charcoal. The Cure-For-All reads: Boneset, Spoonwood, Tansy, Turmeric, Aloe, Carrionflower, Ginger, Cedar Bark, Arnica, Mullein. |

I agree that the Rich Healing Salve needs adjustments. I was just recently discussing with a friend the strange jump in Herbs required for just 20HP compared to 10HP. Maybe if a Healing Salve could be used once per battle or something, I could understand that, but as it stands, you’re better off crafting two Healing Salves than one Rich Healing Salve. (Not a request for battle usage, just pointing out where that small amount of HP MIGHT be worth 15 Herbs) I think Rich Healing Salve needs to be made easier to craft (maybe 4-5 Herbs?) or grant more HP (and if it’s 15 Herbs, I would say FULL HP) |

I haven't bothered researching the Rich Healing Salve. It's too expensive as it is for not nearly enough gain. The only reason I'll ever research it is the same reason I researched the regular Healing Salve - if you have to have it learned in order to unlock other cures. Otherwise, it's a meaningless waste of herbs for a fairly worthless item. If the recipe was different, or if it did something else, it might be worthwhile. I like the "fills HP bar to max" idea. I would craft for that! |

I agree that the rich healing salve definitely needs some balancing. Right now it's the only recipe I haven't learned because it just isn't worth using those herbs for a 20 hp boost, especially since those herbs can be used for other medicines I usually actually need. |
