Regarding the 'male-to-female ratio' matter, I would be fine with Halo having male pups, she just needs a mate. I don't mind if anyone does want their character to be mates with Halo, or not. Its up to you guys!

So far, I think Apollo and Rain have a crush on each other. There's really only four other males at the moment: Diablo, Aragon, Ruger, and Chico.
