Best way to train Adolescents?

Best way to train Adolescents?

Hi!
I'm sure this has been asked a lot before I did do a Google search but came up with old pages from when Adol training was first implemented!

So I have an Adol with decent stats but I wondered… normally I just train for hunting if I want a hunter , herbs if I want to train up a new herbalist etc etc but I want this one to be breeding male/ pack
Leader.  Should I train more broadly ? Like stalker chaser finisher , some herbalist some scouting ? Or just pick one and keep with it ?

Just wondered what others do when training adolescents as apprentices ? I'm probably over thinking !

Scout would be my recommendation. They level up the faster (when they become an adult with the role, that is), thus increasing their stats a bit more rapidly than even hunters. They also tend to be a bit more generalized, so work well for future breed male/pack leader choices. Honestly, there's not much point in training your adol in multiple roles; focus on one, as they just earn proficiency (it's possible they earn stats too, but I've honestly never had it happen or not enough to note it).

I train mine for whatever role they're going to be in. So if they're going to be a Chaser, I train them as a chaser. I don't think there's any benefit in training them more widely, they do gain stats while training but not necessarily any more than if they were just training for one role. I do also train my future leaders as scouts though, but if you have a role earmarked for a wolf personally I wouldn't bother
