I am bringing a new feature to the Piplet Universe! The Aerie will be a place for wayward Piplets to shelter and look for new homes. Players may choose to leave unwanted Piplets at the Aerie for the chance to be adopted by other players.

Piplet Shop

All newly purchased Piplets start as Generation 1! There are (currently) 18 available default base colors, 12 breedable base colors, 1 special* base color, and 5 marking type sets, along with various eye colors, wing colors, beak colors, mask colors, AND one mutation.

Base Piplet: 0-1 Markings & .5% mutation chance
100 SC
Better Piplet: 2-4 random markings & 2% mutation chance
125 SC
Best Piplet: All 4-6 different markings with random colors & 5% mutation chance
150 SC

Customization Options:

Please note that customization options can only be added on before or during the creation of the Piplet, and not after.

Choose your marking types: 25 SC each
Options: Belly, Stripes, Speckles, Belly Stripe, Sky Spots, Bug Belly (you CAN choose multiple of the same type!)

How to Breed

Piplet Studs: link

Breeding combines two parent Piplets to create 1 or 2 eggs! After breeding, the hen will go on a breeding cooldown until the next Monday after rollover. Eggs hatch after 24 hours. Offspring have a chance to inherit their parents' markings, and either inherit parent colors or a mixture of both (for base, beak, wings, mask, and eyes), and even unlock breeding-exclusive colors, including pinks, greens, oranges, and purples!

Standard cost to breed is 150 SC (to go to the artist). To breed your Piplet hen, it must be 24 hours since hatching and not on a breeding cooldown. You may choose a stud from the Piplet Studs list (link), the event stud (if any), or one of your own Piplet males.

If you want to offer your Piplet for stud, comment or message me with which Piplet you would like studded. Once your stud is posted in the forum, other users may message you and ask to breed with your Piplet.

Please note that mutations currently have a 1/3 pass rate.

Exploration

(UPDATED)
You can explore once per Piplet per week. So, if you have 3 Piplets, you can explore 3 times that week. This resets every Monday after Rollover.

Cost to explore is 50 SC. Note that the explore option is a work in progress and while you currently have a 50/50 chance to find a new Piplet while exploring, décor and backgrounds have not been added into the explore feature yet. This will be updated as soon as it is.

Found Piplet: 50% chance with a 5% mutation chance

Event: Bug Hunt

As a celebration of summer (and in an attempt to introduce a new style of Piplet), I am adding all-new features, including breeding items for the shop, THREE new mutations, and a new marking type!
Brand-new mutations:
Buglet Wings (replaces Piplet default wings)
Buglet Eyes (which hides the Piplet's eye color with an enlarged pupil)
Antennae
One new marking: Bug Belly
And a special event stud showcasing the above!
