A “free trial” for pair bonding.

A “free trial” for pair bonding.

Do you ever have that time you pick the wrong 2 wolves, and then you have to wait 30 days AND use resources? It's happened to me.

I'm suggesting that we get a day (I'd even be fine if we could just have 10 mins) where we can undo the pair bonding, kinda like a small free trial. Again, this is so that nobody has to deal with accidentally setting the wrong wolves together.

Edit: thanks for bringing up that people could rake advantage of this. Maybe the devs could add a CD so the wolves can't breed until that free trial is done and the bonding is permanent.

This has never happened to me, though I can understand how frustrating it might be for you

I'm kind of on the fence with this atm.

Without the cooldown period people will use that "free trial" to breed with males in their pack that aren't studs, only to dip out after that's done, and repeat the cycle. This could potentially decrease the value of public studs. Keep in mind also that male wolves don't have a breeding cooldown so with this "free trial" system can be used with many females for mass breeding... Not everyone would do this of course, but I can't say I personally wouldn't be tempted, if I want to get a certain base or eyes or markings or stats but can't afford a pair bond or don't have time/currency to send a breeding request to someone's public stud.

Perhaps a better solution would be a GC investment in the form of an item that can "cut the chord" as it were, between a pair bond, removing the pair bonding cooldown.
Alternatively, the item can be a valuable Event item (like Wolf Meat for example) which removes (or halves?) the cooldown period for recently "divorced" wolves.

How about they make it so it's a "pair bonding CD" where they can't breed until the timer is done? I don't really want to have to buy an expensive item for a pair bonding… the point of the OG CD is so that nobody could mass breed, like you said. Maybe just, like I said, making it so the females can't be bred (maybe adding a day CD to breed again) until that CD is done.
