Pigeonfeather shrugged restlessly, his eyes flicking away. "No...I guess it's not really my sort of thing. I mean I've seen what love can do to cats..." He couldn't stop thinking about Nightwing and Fiercehawk. "Honestly, now that I've seen firsthand what love can do, I don't think I ever want to be a part of that." Pigeonfeather paused, gazing into the distance, then shook his head. "What about you though, Shellpaw? Any apprentices catch your eye?" |

Pigeonfeather purred happily at hearing Shellpaw had made friends in another Clan. Inter-Clan relations were important, so it was always good to hear the future of the Clans were getting along. He settled into the moss, closing his eyes slightly and just enjoying hanging out with the younger cat. He opened one eye at Shellpaw's words. "Hmm...I'm going to say yes, but if it's something like 'go get me a rabbit from WindClan territory', I reserve the right to take the yes away." |

"Nothing like that," I snorted, laughing. Mumbling to myself, "I do want a rabbit now." To pigeonfeather, "I was going to ask if you could talk cherrypaw into letting me return to training. I'm soooooooooooo BORED sitting in here all day and all night, and I'm practically all better." |

"I'm not sure I can quite persuade her to let you totally free, but we might be able to set up some kind of test to see whether you're ready to be back out in full training. Would that be alright? Until then, I could help you with some training if you wanted. I know Nightwing tends to be...busy...a lot of the time, so if you ever feel like you need to get some training done, you can always come to me. When Cherrypaw comes back from gathering herbs, I'll talk to her about letting you get out, though, alright? Sound fair?" "Also," he added, "I think I saw a juicy rabbit on the fresh-kill pile earlier...oh, if only I knew a ThunderClan apprentice who might be interested in it, I would go and fetch it..." |

"Plleeeaaassseeeeeeee," I meowed, hopping to my paws. "I'd love to have some help training! Windclans deputy hangs out at the gathering place and nightwings always chasing her off, so he's pretty busy." Rocking excitedly on my paws, my growl growled, announcing its hunger. "Could you fetch that rabbit for me? Pretty pwease." I pouted and batted my eyelashes, doing this always worked as a kit. |

Pigeonfeather laughed, rolling over on his belly and batting at Shellpaw's face gently with one paw. "That only works when you're about three moons old, fluff-brain. But don't worry, I'll still get you that rabbit." Rolling back over and getting to his paws, Pigeonfeather trotted out and grabbed the rabbit for Shellpaw and a small vole for himself. He placed the rabbit in front of Shellpaw, asking, "Is this good for you, O Shellstar?" |
